… He gives the War Compass another 2 Comets!? That's absolutely crazy in terms of value if you get enough time to drop them all. That'd make the compass ridiculously efficient, and you'd only need one to drop a lot of crazy damage onto enemy forces if you can get them to clump up.
Stick an Astromancer onto one and they're gonna be an absolutely crazy support unit for a melee heavy army

i d also like to know what a forest battle is… i always thought it has to be the battlemaps the WE or BM fight on if in their respective special movementstand but that would be terribly useless for other races lords !? and there are plenty lords with boosts to forest battlles

I always forget how little there is in the base game without all the mods. IDK if I would even play this game if it wasn't for the mods tbh. This DLC doesn't change that thought either. Shrugs. I feel like Ostankya is missing something…maybe more spirit things?

Getting good relations with the Elves is only to make "friends" with them. I've managed in other campaigns to get the entire donut to team up against Tyrion. Elves killing Elves is the ultimate "Win-win" scenario.

While I like the Changeling in theory, I'm not a fan of having a lord that is another lord basically all of time on the battlefield. If I would want to be Karl Franz, I would play Empire. I would've loved if the Changeling would actually change during battle but also have some incentive to change back to his original form (to cast spells or something like that).

I don't usually use outpost units either but with the changeling i will definitely get some empire handgunners and a frontline of dwarves so that the gunners are tall enough to shoot over them.
Hold on, net of amyntok has 38sec cd and 20sec duration. Yuan bo gets 20% cooldown reduction and 50% spell intensity with his skilltree. Will he be able to just permanently net things? 😀

It means every time on the campaign map your armies stand over any ground type that contains forest in its name(light forest, dense forest,…)
You just need to hover your cursor over an area and wait until the tooltip pops up and tells you the type of ground your force currently stands on
Man I have been so hype for mother Stank, still is, but this skill tree is lackluster like crazy. Sure, she has some neat buffs but nothing out of the ordinary insane really and no individual tree line? Disappointing to say the least

RE: the extra ammo in forest battles. I believe it means battles that take place in a forest region. When you hover over the land where you are it'll tell you whether it's grassland, mountain, wasteland etc. It's something that's going to have very limited application as there aren't many forest regions.

I think it’s going to tell you terrain type if you cursor over an area on campaign map. I remember descriptors like… light forest… no word on whether light forest is enough of a forest for a… forest battle… echoing op’s sentiment a bit…
Mother Ostankya's start in Naggaroth? Why her lore states that she lives in Duklys Forest in Kislev. CA is throwing darts at a map at this point. Lorewise it is kinda bad starting potion, she is an enemy of Konstantin who wants to detroy her. from a gameplay perspective it is another story I think.
