There are a bunch of different legendary weapons in Dead Island 2 which make up the best weapons in the game so here are the locations for all of them and how to get ever legendary weapon in Dead Island 2!
The legendary weapons are hidden pretty well and include how to get legendary brass knuckles, a legendary AK assault rifle, some other legendary guns, a knife, axe and more. There is sadly no legendary Bo Staff.. but maybe a Bo Staff will be added into the game a bit later on.

Some of these weapons you can get pretty early on and others are pretty tough to get because of hidden quests you need to complete before other quests will pop but it's well worth it.

Ive done both of the quests required to get the Beacon of hope but the dude aint there
Edit: I did the final Amanda Style side quest (The YT girl) & after completing it the quest opened up & I was able to get it so if anyone else is wondering why the Beacon of hope quest isn’t showing up for them finish all of Amandas quests.
The party starter got bugged. When I first got it the game decided crashed and when I check my inventory it's not there I even go back to the car the back was open so I didn't get the legendary weapon
For the people wanting the brass knuckles make sure you look up a different guide. This incompetent moron fails to explain the door to start the quest is locked from the other side
Wow. How depressing. No legendary Frenzy Swords.
Makes me kind of pissed. I tear through zombies with my Officer's Swords, so much so that they're my favorite weapon. I can be overran and decimate the whole group in like two seconds. All the other weapons are slow and boring.
It’s sucks to get most of the best weapons towards the end of the game if only we had them in the beginning

I hope they gonna had new weapons soon or one day, cuz 8 legendary weapon in the hole entire game (which is about smashing zombies) is one of the cheapest thing ive ever seen, like come on, we’ve been waiting for years and the game straight is sold around 100$
Anyone can give me legendary weapons?
One stupid thing about games that i never understood and refuse to accept is , why the fuck do devs allow us to find the most fucking awesome weapons in the game only after finishing the main story? Like, how much more do you think im gonna play your game after im finished with your 20 hour story? In games like skyrim, rdr, fallout and (now) starfield , i will stay around for a lot more yes but the content is also more than 100 hours.
But what can this kind of game offer me after its done, other than pointlessly killing zombies? Give me the opportunity to find the weapons whenever i want so i can enjoy the story and the cool weapons at the same tim.
You missed a part on the Redacted quest where after you took Lt. Ford’s note you MUST GO FIRST TO THE CONTAINER NO. 78(NEAR THE SHORE) TO GET TO DELGADO(CONTAINER NO. 66).
can you upgrade every weapon's level or is that only with legendary weapons i just started playing dead island 2 since the dlc is going to release soon and I managed to get the collectors edition brand new sealed for only £45 and it came with the season pass and a bunch of characters skin's and dlc weapons and dlc skill cards I really like the steelbook it comes with and i Got lucky it's why I buy disk versions of a game from time to time

Beacon Of Hope and going Viral are currently bugged on my playthrough. I'm locked out of The One. Haven't went to get the AK yet. What a total buzzkill.
I found out a good way to get money in dead island 2,put all your good weapons in your storage,go to the unclaimed property in the storage and grab abunch of those bad weapons that u might not want,go to a trader and sell all those weapons,I did this a couple days after I finished the story and I got like 200k,also the mutator in the it not your fault mission spawns at the same location,if you have Peggy or really almost any gun other then a shotgun it easy to kill the mutator before he mutates

I think u need to start a new account and check these… the brutalizer is impossible to get as early as just finishing giant slayer and rikki rex's missions as you need to progress further through the main story (like 21st mission) to encounter the first mutator

For some reason the second note for fools gold isn’t spawning for me. I’ve completed the story 100% so I don’t think that’s an issue, are there some side quests this is locked behind or is my game glitched?
I never even knew you can see your curve balls in the bottom left, my mom passed away in January so her memory card is there. It blocks part of the screen but I don't mind
