I think they're Alien Eggs too 🙂
Those caves are all over the place. I have a collection of 22 eggs. Most of them I got by running in and mining and collecting the Uranium, so that It was safe to collect all the eggs in that bottom chamber
When you are pulling the eggs, you are pushing the wrong mouse button. If you push the correct one, the egg goes in your Inventory as a Strange Rock. I know, because Incurrently have a stack of 22 of them
Sorry, I may be saying that wrong. I believe that while you are dragging the rock, you do the same thing you do to pick up bits of ore that you free with a jackhammer – double left mouse button click, or hold down left shift and single left click for me if I'm not mistaken. I use the holding the left shift button a lot, because I find double clicking all the time to be too erratic
Uranium is found in many places, including rare surface deposits, but we will likely not need it until they unlock Uranium Rods and the Killowatt reactor
I still am surprised you gave up so easilly on those eggs. I kept trying until I figured out how to take them with me
Assembling rockets is a pain. Nice that in the PTR buikd, when you build 1, you actually get a pack of 10!!!
Genetic Modification of seeds is cool. With every plant, I grow several batches in succession, each time modifying the seeds. After a few batches, I get enough extra seeds, that I get a few extra plants for food every batch. Some plants like Apples, I believe, I get a whole dome section batch of 18 from just 4 apples, leaving all the rest of the crop to use as food
With Beetroot and Potatoes, I believe I now get a full table batch of 20 seeds from just 16, giving me 4 extra each batch for food. In the long run, it's very worth it
In Alpha base, they use the multi capsule adapter, but they have 2 living rooms for each bathroom for multiple people. For my own bases, because it's just me, I use the 3 way adapter, and I but the living room on one side and the bathroom on the other, leaving the middle passage to continue on the base
If you use the multi capsule adapter, I believe you are forced to put 3 capsules on it, which is wasteful and creates a dead end
Having a bathroom is really nice
Multiple Greenhouses and Domes are far more useful, I find, than multiple workshops. I also like a csnteen for the suit charging port
Once you have plants constantly growing in multiple Greenhouses and Domes, you never have to worry about oxygen again, and you can walk around in the base without helmet 24-7
Always enjoyable. Can't wait to make a few videos myself once my Alpha-Beta base is complete
In the beginning of the episode, you were showing us that flat, small mountain with the cave in it. It's called a "Butte"; an isolated hill with steep, often vertical sides and a small, relatively flat top. Smaller than a plateau. So much going on in this episode! Now, you need to open a hotel!!!
Why didn't you take the uranium
