  1. Love them or hate them knockout games in major tournaments should never come down to a skills competition. It be like a game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals being decided in a shootout. Go back to the golden goal. You want to say save it for finals in tourneys like the WC,CL,Euros,Europa etc? I’m good with that.

  2. I presume you won’t see this Alexi, but i am REALLY curious as to your beef with the England team?? I mean honestly, i’m just curious: we (England fans) have our bogie teams who we love to beat, but they would be Germany, because they’re usually so good, and France, because we traditionally don’t like the French (and visa versa) – so, European teams, but the USA? Everyone loves to beat them, of course, it’s only natural to want to beat the best, but other than that, no rivalry that i know of?!! 🤷‍♀️

  3. WTG Sweden! Thank you for knocking out our money hungry, pathetic, woke, America-hating-USNWT out of the Cup. Again, thank you Sweden! Less time practicing being woke and more time actually practicing kicks shows. Just ask RapinHoe. No wonder the best team in Women’s soccer, with a long undefeated streak, lost to 15 y/o boys a few years ago. If their focus would’ve been on soccer instead of getting the majority of a purse their side can only generate 10% of, they might have fared better. For now, my favorite soccer team is whoever plays the USWNT. Carli Lloyd was right. They should’ve been embarrassed by a tie earlier, yet they celebrated. So glad they lost. So happy RapinHoe was a contributing factor to their loss.

  4. It is absolutely true that this team is polarizing. The thing is, if they would show at least some class, honor, and respect for others, their support would increase dramatically. Just look at this WC, they barely squeak into the round of 16 and you see them celebrating, taking selfies with fans, etc. Why? Show some humility! Rapinoe wildly misses her PK and she smiles, which even if she didn't mean it to mean that she didn't care, it came off as so. In an earlier comment I noted their behavior in 2019 when they played Thailand with their excessive and obnoxious goal celebrations. How hard is it to simply show some reasonable decorum?

It would be one thing if they were off-putting off the field, but then to maintain a professional manner and execute well on the field. However, to be obnoxious both on AND off the field, well, don't be surprised if people want to see you knocked of your pedestal.

  5. As an American, this is far from devastating! It was Awesome seeing the blue-haired witch in Megan Rapinoe miss that penalty kick that sailed way over the crossbar! You may now ride into the sunset and fade deep into oblivion, Ms. Rapinoe!

  6. Remember the Two Games – Old Mens Soccer Team versus Young "Professional" Womens Soccer Team – ha-ha and here are the Results : 12 to Zero for the Men and the other Game was 24 to 1 for the Men ! Women can do the same as Men – HA-HA-HA-HA ! Women are Better than Men – HA-HA-HA-HA ! Women deserve Equal Pay – HA-HA-HA-HA ! Women Sports are being pushed down our Throats and its making us wanting to Vomit ! WOKE Females are Wrecking Female Sports already for Years – give us a Real Good Mens Soccer Game from Europe like England – Germany any Time – now they are Exciting to watch !!!!

  7. Went woke, went broke
    Simple
Focus on the sports, not on politics or ideology

Alexi is very shallow in analysis of soccer itself the system and style of the US team is obsolete as the rule and system of the game has changed already that the smaller and faster players are now much more protected by the bigger players throwing their bodies to wrestle to stop with the use of video
The US team should adjust their game of wrestling to simply playing soccer

  8. The USA team are in a transistion mode. They had an advantage for 20 plus years for taking women's football seriously. Other countries have caught up. They will be back in 2027.
