Airshow | Day 4 | Portugal Air Summit 2022

🇵🇹 O programa do Air Show de sábado dia 15 de outubro 2022, no âmbito do Portugal Air Summit 2022, incluiu o AIR RACE CHAMPIONSHIP e vários outros momentos marcantes nos céus de Ponte de Sor, como o voo acrobático do Spitfire, um avião de combate da II Guerra Mundial, que esteve presente em Portugal pela segunda vez em 50 anos. A tarde contou igualmente com o incrível desempenho da equipa de acrobacias aéreas Raven, liderada por pilotos civis britânicos, aos comandos dos seis RV-8.

O evento contou também com a presença do ex-campeão mundial Ramón Alonso, do piloto Castór Fantoba, atual campeão nacional espanhol nos estilos Clássico e Freestyle, e do português Luís Garção, piloto comandante de Airbus A330 na TAP Air Portugal, e especialista em acrobacia aérea há quase 30 anos, que demonstrou as suas habilidades aéreas com o seu Pitts S2B.

A tarde culmminou com a descolagem e uma passagem baixa do Airbus A320 CS-TKP “Dream” da SATA Azores Airlines, que aterrou na vésperra, pela primeira vez, no Alto Alentejo, fazendo história no Aeródromo Municipal de Ponte de Sor.

🇬🇧 The Air Show on Saturday, October 15th, 2022 as part of the Portugal Air Summit 2022, included the AIR RACE CHAMPIONSHIP and several other remarkable moments in the skies over Ponte de Sor including a display of a Spitfire, a combat aircraft of World War II which was present over the skies of Portugal for the second time in 50 years. The afternoon also featured the incredible performance of the Raven aerobatics team, led by British civilian pilots, at the controls of six RV-8s.

The event was also attended by former world racing champion Ramón Alonso, pilot Castór Fantoba, current Spanish national aerobatics champion in Classic and Freestyle and Portuguese Luís Garção, normally a Pilot in command of an Airbus A330 at TAP Air Portugal and specialist in aerobatics for nearly 30 years, which demonstrated it’s aerial skills in the Pitts S2B Special.

The afternoon ended with the take-off and a low passage of the Airbus A320 CS-TKP “Dream” from SATA Azores Airlines which landed the previous day for the first time in Alto Alentejo, making history at the Ponte de Sor Municipal Aerodrome.
