  1. Games with diplomacy seriously need to stop punishing players for AI breaking a treaty. If player makes action directly leading to such thing (such as war against ally) it makes complete sense. However, i also just cant cancel my contract just because i dont like you anymore, or i can but iam the one penalized, not the other side. This drives me mad, its every game with reliability mechanic, either make better AI who cant be exploited because of that or forget about this mechanic, this way its not a cat and not a dog either. Its mutant, or xenos if you wish.

  2. after the seige of flintwall, the great army of undeads, led by great necromancer (i don't remember his name), crossed a state board of new awakened lands after that they faced up the mains forces of awekeneds the battle beguns the battle was brutal but in any case the undeads lost and only a few of them ran survieved
    this was the battle of deathmoon the begin of great crussade the dark crussade (yeah i can't be a scribe)

  3. Great episode, lots of good battles well fought.

    There is a cursed barrows ancient structure that is right by your southern armies. You were basically on top of it most of this episode. It does not look like it’s been cleared out but with this new game I could be wrong. I hope you clear that before you move your armies away from it at the start of the next episode.

  4. Enjoying the series, a useful tip I discovered, whilst in the hero screen you can press alt to compare items for the slots and see equipped Vs available. Makes deciding what to equip easier. 🤩

  5. mind control does look stupid broken, charming undead and with relatively high chances usually. I guess it'd be more op if you could keep the units after the case like in AoW3, but the chances of charm in that weren't usually very high and plenty of creatures were straight up immune.

  6. The magic orb enables your character to use a mount. That's always a consideration when deciding between staff and orb. Also orbs have weaker damage per shot, but repeating attacks.

    Also, I found that summon animal or summon elemental are by far the best signature skills. Sometimes the unit is meh (like those super slow caustic worms), but sometimes you get awesome stuff like the ice elemental with a teleport that does AoE freeze.

  7. You may have noticed, but the AI always mysteriously has a full set of gear for all their champions. Its not like there's somewhere to buy the gear. I don't know why your Nymph unit isn't healing. Mine do.
