Great video, learned a lot. Can someone explain what exactly the overflow mechanic means? He talks about it when building and I don’t really understand this mechanic. Why would the resource be lost otherwise?

This game is published by Paradox so I don't understand why Paradox doesn't use the same format for EUROPA UNIVERSALIS and HEARTS OF IRON. The battles would be so much more interesting and the game as well.

This is so dam annoying. Why do all the games I really get into come out all at the same dam time? First I was playing Hogwarts and really enjoying that. Then Wartales came out I think last week. That game wasn't even on my radar. I just saw a feed for it on youtube and thought it would be a fun game to play for breaks from Hogwarts. Well, I haven't even looked at Hogwarts since Wartales came out. It's like Xcom2 but medieval. And I think I got it for $30? Then Steam never even gave me an alert this game was coming out for some reason and I didn't discover it was until two days before release. And I was enjoying Wartales so much I was hesitant to spend the $50 to buy AoW4. But I did. After a bit of a learning curve, I am enjoying this as much as Wartales. But of course, it comes out the last day of my vacation. Grrr! With Diablo 4 a month away and Cityskylines2 maybe by the end of the summer, this will be a really good year for gaming for me.

Very thorough. Thank you for the tip about the boosts. I've been watching several other tutorials and most of them seem to leave out the explanations of some of the important things that they seem to think are a given. Obviously, if we are watching these tutorials we don't necessarily know about such things.
