  1. Please do some basic research first. I know it makes for a great title, and i have seen this claimed before but a buick GNXis not faster in a strait line than a ferarri F40. A GNX has 300HP VS F40s 474hp. A ferrari F40 does the standing quarter in 12.1 seconds

  2. So it only won on the "American" parameters. Going in the corners was still too challenging and I guess the beetle was his biggest enemy . So how exactly did it beat Ferrari? Going straight is still nothing.

  3. I had a '78 Buick Regal 3.8L Turbo back in the mid 80's that was a ton of fun. The blow through turbo setups back then were simplistic but fairly new to us. Major learning curve and a ton of issues later… good old days. XD
    —Just my two cents.

  4. My father worked for a company that was owned by GM. Anyway he was an executive and got a big discount on GM products so we always had a GM. During the 1980’s his go to was the Oldsmobile Cutlass. Especially the 442’s. For 1986 he ordered a 442, but when it arrived it was the wrong color. So he did not take possession of the car. Anyways, he then decided to get a corvette. I was like finally a cool car. We test drove a corvette and he settled on a black automatic with the Z51 package. Well that’s what I thought. On the day he was supposed to buy it he changed his mind and bought a 1986 Gand National. As you can imagine I was disappointed when he drove up the driveway. Not another G body I said. My dad gets out of the Buick and said “get you ass in the car”. I complied and he took me for a ride. I came back home with a grin from ear to ear. This thing was faster than a Corvette. I could not believe it. I popped the hod and saw that 3.8 and the turbo and I was like no way. My father smiled and said. Will go Vette hunting tonight. We did and smoke 2 that night. The next year he worked his magic with a friend at GM and was able to order a GNX. The 930 turbo killer. He kept the 1986 and I drove it when I got my license. Well for a short period of time. I got caught drag racing. However, it was fun while it lasted.

  5. Holy cow… I don’t think I count how many inaccuracies are in this video. Still enjoyed it.
Good to hear the ACLU has stepped up to help the Jan 6 prisoners, you know, the ones that have been in jail for over a year and not even been charged . Oh my bad, they have done jack$&@!

  6. The ACLU is NOT a "great cause." Absolutely abhorrent they would dangle a beautiful GNX in front of us but ask for money for that diabolical socialist organization!

  8. Wait, the ACLU the American "Civil Liberites" Union? That ACLU? The political propaganda organization wearing a "we fight for your rights" skin suit? You think that group will fight for your right to tune your car with an internal combustion engine? Ok. Yeah sure. It's possible that some time in the past they actually did fight injustices and made every attempt to assist the downtrodden, but that's not them today.

  9. If you respect the history, then fine, get excited about a Grand National. If you think the money would be awesome if you win one of them and can flip it, also fine. If you're just enamored with the murdered out color scheme on an old man's body shape, then okay you do you. Those reason are legit I guess. But if you think it's going to be better than any more modern car, then quit lying to yourself…they're Buick Regals from the 1980's. Sure, they're faster than other 1980's Buick Regals, but that's about the only benefit. They're absolute junk compared to practically any modern car.
