This story is set in contemporary Lagos and takes place majorly in a University. It is about a young University student named Rumaysah who struggles with discrimination at her school because of her new spiritual path as a Muslim that necessitates her wearing a hijab. Even though she is a brilliant student, she is picked on by her lecturer, Mrs Talomola who intentionally fails Rumaysah in a prerequisite course thus getting in the way of her graduating.

Exactly what is happening in our society. Even our parents do sometimes.
May Allah ease our affairs.
Jazakumullahu khayran for this great piece.
This is really good! Well done to the team. The actors?????? Never disappoint, actistssst of the beyond.
This is beautiful. Shout out to the DOP ❤️❤️
Oh noooo, I was rooting for Rumeysah. It's quite unfortunate that in this part of the world the way we dress triggers people in authority
Weldone to the production team!🥺❤️🎉
Nice story line
Thumps up!
Incredible! Simply credible!
Amazing casting crew, storyline, acting and thanks for sharing this reality with the world.
For those who have been there, you know what it feels like. For those who never knew this happened or experienced it, let this be an opportunity of standing up for truth and with truth wherever you may be.
Once again, jazaakumullahu khayran Sis Aisha Adams and all for this very enjoyable and realistic short film. Deserves an award! Is there a next part (smile)?
Masha Allah 💜
Allahuma barik 😍, this is really a few of the snippet happening in our society.
Barakallah feekum
Masterpiece. Kudos to Aisha and the team.
Beautiful! Baaraka llahu fiih. Clearly represents the challenges people face over donning hijab. And I like the flashback part. As hijabis, we must be careful how we treat others. Mrs Talomola acted out of hate from the experience she had with a hijabi. We must never allow the position we have get into our heads.
Ma shaa Allah tabarakallah
Beautiful narrative, succinct and captivating 🤗
I liked how it was played out at the end. Shows how in our society, the system is greater than the truth we speak.
Nice, so emotional and thoughts provoking about discrimination and injustice against serious religious students and moreso the fact that a scene shows the past of the female lecturer how she was also begging…. People are quick to forget what they've been through or take out their past experiences on innocent people
Great one guys! I wish you more of the best ahead
Excellent production. Picture quality and acting are top notch. Very realistic and factual conversations. No fake accents, no overdrive acting. Awesome
Excellent story line. Lesson here for me, the non muslims interprete your actions to mean the teachings of islam.
Be extra careful and as much as possible avoid actions that give wrong interpretation of islam least others suffer from what you did as seen here
Lovely. This is a true event and "Rumaysah" is really doing well today. Alhamdulillah
Fantastic presentation.. kudos!
Nice one Barakallahu fi

This put tears in my eyes… 😭 so pitiful that this is exactly how our society is wired. I Schooled in Funaab and I suppose the news of the discrimination the Muslim women who wear hijab face there is no more news. It is painful and disheartening as I witnessed the victimizing events first hand, while Muslim bodies tried to come to the rescue of the women. Freedom is fake in this sphere. Laslaas, truth will prevail. Thanks you very much @Aisha Adams for putting this out to the world.
Barrokallah fii intresting
This depicts what we face everyday in this part of the world. Its a great story.Short but full of wisdom.
If its worth living for, then its worth fighting for…Just do it within the agreeable and acceptable ambience and victory will be assured.
consistency is also key.
Kudos sister Aisha Adams 👏
