As someone who works in a shelter I just want to say thank you for pushing adopt dont shop. If yall are willing to travel to northern california we have some great shelters in sacramento and elk grove.
You guys could ask Karl to help you set up a meet and greet and adoption to help clear out an animal shelter. Or have a couple shelters join up and rent out a space. Your popularity could help hundreds of animals. All just an idea from a person who loves animals and respects Rae and the whole crew.

Yes, nice gesture to pay it off. But the adoption fee is important cause if you can’t afford that, you can’t afford to have a pet. So for the most part, it’s kind of a precursor for future bills. If it was a donation, the shelter would also have more funds for care since they’d be getting the donation and the future adoption fee. So personally as someone in the animal health field, a nice donation is more beneficial for the animal’s future than paying off the adoption fee for someone who possibly shouldn’t be adopting at the time.

My heart hurts for all the dogs at shelters and adoption areas Cus they all look so sad and they get to see thier friends leave and get homes while they are still stuck in a miserable place in specially older dogs they almost never get adopted I literally can’t go to centres anymore they look so sad so I’m so happy Hasan payed the whole adoption fee so hopefully they’ll get adopted soon 😭 (sorry for bad grammar and language)
