What it does it allow npc engineers or robots spawn in seats of different faction bases, ships or anything else you can think of to make the world feel more alive and to add extra danger when assaulting a pirate ship or outpost! I go over what this mod does, the pirates you can fight and how to trigger the spawning of npcs on your own creations!

With every mod like that released, we're getting closer to genuine NPCs.
It would be amazing to see bases and ships crewed like they are in Empyrion.
Now if only you could hire them or rescue for them join your ship.
This would be good to create a head quarters. Filled with zombie robots or a others to rpg.
Just had a better idea. Npc that you can rescue. Npc that just roam about.
So with this mod, chairs are the best base defense weapons?
I love this mod! It’s adds a huge new dimension to pirating. Especially if you use it with AI Enabled for a support crew.

I've been wanting npc's for a while. My idea though was to tie them to beds. For chairs and doors implement a red green use, so they can access green objects and leave red alone, this way they wouldn't accidentally airlock themselves. The idea would let them move around a ship with boundaries in place. Would to set up scenarios where a squad has to take a base.
I will NEVER get over the disappointment of boarding my 1st enemy vessel to find "0" opposition. This needs to get added to an expansion MEOW

Can these npcs actually help you in some way or are they just target practice?
How did you select everything on the ship?
I could imagine pathing to be a bit buggy without any official navmesh in the game which makes it all the more impressive someone got that mod to work at all.
Of course all this is dependent on AI enabled, with the handcrafted pathfinding system.
So, the pathing didn't work on the ship. How much "room/space" would it need to actually work? The simple corridors on the station worked, what was different?

I always thought spiders would be a bigger deal, like if you crash on alien planet your ship should be getting swarmed with them tearing there way through your hull, would make for some starship troop type combat
😃Some life in the game! All keen has to do now is have a game to play and take away safe zones for players and limit it to only to NPC stations and admin.

The part about letting NPCs spawn on a ship you built, try moving 3k away and coming back. See if you don't have to reload the game to make it work.
should turn off artificial gravity when they jump out their seat LOL
It's just not clear how to remove the limit on the construction of these bots, if you are only allowed to have 2 units with you.
Can't find crew enabled or ai enabled on Xbox, zombie attack npc ai enabled is best I can find
