  1. Additional thoughts are the best! I didn't even see the reaction yet cause I don't know this album yet but I almost always watch these cause what other reaction channels are doing these follow ups? Brad taste in music and path work follow ups into the reaction videos themselves and plenty of channels do reviews but we here know Bob hits different. There's just a simple honesty to it. If you can't listen as much as you want you say, if you listen to much you say, and if it's hitting just right all week we know you're not just saying it. There's just this little window you give into your music listening life that's weirdly refreshing and unique. Keep doing you man!

  2. bob, this is the POLAR OPPOSITE kind of music as baduizm, but since you've mentioned you're interested in rap / metal crossovers i would HIGHLY recommend checking out scarlxrd's "Dxxm II" on your own time (it's not something that would get a lot of attention in a reaction format as it's extremely polarizing love-it-or-hate-it music)

alternatively, i would recommend listening to his song "Nightmares" off the album just to see if it's something that'd make a decent reaction video, and then subsequently reacting to the full album.
nightmares is a multi-phased track that very much exemplifies all the different angles he approaches the metal sound from, through long melodic screams, fast rapping, metal production, trap production, and even elements of electronic mixed in

  4. If you enjoyed this then you outfit to consider listening to A Seat At The Table by Solange. You might find there's more to dig into when it comes to the lyrics as well

  5. When that bass slide in the beginning of other side of the game hits my subwoofers after a long day at work, such a calming ethereal feeling. This album helps me decompress, along with a bunch of other neo soul albums in this realm

  6. I cringe every time a middle aged white guy reactor calls Hip Hop, Soul, or R&B music simple. It’s not simple nor complex, it just is what it is, you either get it or you don’t.

  7. I usually listen to you on my steam browser while playing, so I can't comment, but this time I opened my regular browser to comment. Check out Sade, she is incredible. Up there with Kate Bush, but but different from her.

Also, next doom album you react to should be operation doomsday. it's the foundation to understand the rest of his catalogue and his most personal album. I know you would love to dig into the lyrics of several songs. One of the songs is basically his transition from sub love x to doom, first recorded 4-5 years before the album.

any ugk and d'angelos black messiah would be awesome as well. black messiah will hit you from a direction you won't see coming.
