React to The Powers That B by Death Grips plssss
Love the videos Bob, would love to see you do at long last asap by asap rocky
Need lupe the cool
Bob can you please listen to thug angel by Black Kray or back to the witchhouse by Black Kray?!¡
I’m so down for an r&b journey — but while you’d like Sade it isn’t well built for reacting.
Too chill. Really good tho.
Purple Rain. Black Messiah. FKA Twigs.
If you do Schoolboy jump in the deep-end: Blankface.
Jhene Aiko fits in this space!!!! I've been asking for Sailing Out by her for like a year. It's 10 songs like 30 mins. Fast easy great album
I think u should do Cilvia Demo still. It's schoolboy Adjacent. TDE has a posse cut as the outro..U got all of Feburary to do a schoolboy album
Sade is incredible, her first album Diamond Life is phenomenal, but my personal favorite is Love Deluxe. Just gorgeous music. Also still patiently waiting on Cilvia Demo.
Additional thoughts are the best! I didn't even see the reaction yet cause I don't know this album yet but I almost always watch these cause what other reaction channels are doing these follow ups? Brad taste in music and path work follow ups into the reaction videos themselves and plenty of channels do reviews but we here know Bob hits different. There's just a simple honesty to it. If you can't listen as much as you want you say, if you listen to much you say, and if it's hitting just right all week we know you're not just saying it. There's just this little window you give into your music listening life that's weirdly refreshing and unique. Keep doing you man!
Erykah Badu and neo soul is not background music
React to city morgue
it was written or we will riot!!
bob, this is the POLAR OPPOSITE kind of music as baduizm, but since you've mentioned you're interested in rap / metal crossovers i would HIGHLY recommend checking out scarlxrd's "Dxxm II" on your own time (it's not something that would get a lot of attention in a reaction format as it's extremely polarizing love-it-or-hate-it music)
alternatively, i would recommend listening to his song "Nightmares" off the album just to see if it's something that'd make a decent reaction video, and then subsequently reacting to the full album.
nightmares is a multi-phased track that very much exemplifies all the different angles he approaches the metal sound from, through long melodic screams, fast rapping, metal production, trap production, and even elements of electronic mixed in
1. M.I.A. – Kala
2. Isaiah Rashad – Cilvia Demo
3. D’Angelo – Black Messiah
4. FKA twigs – Magdalene
5. Young Thug – Jeffery
6. Solange – A Seat At The Table
7. A$AP Rocky – Long Live A$AP
8. Erykah Badu – Mama’s Gun
9. The Weeknd – Kiss Land
10. Ol Dirty Bastard – Return to the 36 Chambers
Pusha T its almost dry ever gonna happen or is that a no go?
If you enjoyed this then you outfit to consider listening to A Seat At The Table by Solange. You might find there's more to dig into when it comes to the lyrics as well
react to Megan Thee Stallion – Traumazine or Tina Snow 🙏🏾🙏🏾 more female rappers
More UGK would be great as well
dave or mac tomorrow 😵💫
Faces bob im begging you please
Or schoolboy q
Is he trolling us with the Sade pronunciation?
We’re all alone in this together – Dave
When that bass slide in the beginning of other side of the game hits my subwoofers after a long day at work, such a calming ethereal feeling. This album helps me decompress, along with a bunch of other neo soul albums in this realm
Sade is also amazing!
CILVIA DEMO ISAIAH RASHAD
I love how bob is gonna react to more jazz now! Can’t wait for sade reaction
I think you would enjoy Musiq Soulchild. Also in the Neo soul genre.
Bob you should definitely listen to MIKE burning desire!! Im sure you'll like it
Blankface LP should be the pick if you're doing Q. Easily his best and most complete work in terms of writing. Honestly an underrated classic
I cringe every time a middle aged white guy reactor calls Hip Hop, Soul, or R&B music simple. It’s not simple nor complex, it just is what it is, you either get it or you don’t.
Her next album Mama's Gun is one of my faves of all time! Much more dynamic than Baduizm – though its still great.
Do skepta !
Hey bob, I know you love metal, have you listened to this Indian folk metal song called "Gaddaar" by a band called "Bloodywood"? Check it out. You're in for a treat!
Hope he does Lupe
I usually listen to you on my steam browser while playing, so I can't comment, but this time I opened my regular browser to comment. Check out Sade, she is incredible. Up there with Kate Bush, but but different from her.
Also, next doom album you react to should be operation doomsday. it's the foundation to understand the rest of his catalogue and his most personal album. I know you would love to dig into the lyrics of several songs. One of the songs is basically his transition from sub love x to doom, first recorded 4-5 years before the album.
any ugk and d'angelos black messiah would be awesome as well. black messiah will hit you from a direction you won't see coming.
Day 1 of asking you to do Up 2 Me by Yeat
pronounced shahday 😂
you cant convince me this isnt growing up in scientology @bobthepoppop
Her albums after Baduizm are even better…she really begins to grow into her artistry
