  1. I recommend you listen to black ben carson by yourself. really good project, might leave you a little confused on the first listen, but important for understanding peggy progression.

  2. If you want more hip hop that is very unique and unpredictable, maybe check out Slauson Malone. I don't know if it would make a great video but I recommend his album "A Quiet Farwell." It's a quick listen (30 min) and very different from Peggy but similar in that it's a mindbending and unpredictable listen.

  3. Just some background on Peggy: He used to make mostly pop music! His mixtape GHOST POP TAPE from 2013 was ambient pop/alternative r&b. He even has a cover of Call Me Maybe on there. It was around 2015 when his sound started to shift towards the abrasiveness on Veteran. I feel All My Heroes Are Cornballs was his first release where he really started to blend his early ideas with the music that made him famous!

  4. Slight correction, I'm 90% sure he said he puts a lot of the crazier stuff out in that no jumper interview. Also on his 2016 album Black Ben Carson he opens with the track Drake Era where he specifically says "I'm here to take hip hop out the Drake Era" so I'm sure he wants to be at least something of an influence on hip hop's evolution into the future

  5. Gonna throw out a recommendation for Peggy's 2016 collab album "The 2nd Amendment" w/ Freaky, I don't think I've seen a single reaction to it on YouTube even though it's 🔥🔥🔥🔥

  6. I think in terms of sequencing and theme, this is peggy’s best album. The first couple tracks feel like usual jpegmafia but once it hits rap grow old, it’s when he begins to open up about becoming big and the cycles that come with it. And everything after thot tactics is him rapping about his own worries and insecurities over his image and all the songs become more soft and vulnerable. And personally, i think papi i missed you is his BEST album closer. All the tracks and the theme of learning your heroes arent perfect and can eventually decline make this one my favorite from him.
10/10 most disappointing album that came out that year tbh

  7. Anytime i put people on to peggy i tell them “hey you might enjoy this but also i wouldn’t be surprised if you immediately turned it off” 😂
Glad you enjoyed cornballs, i hope you do EP 1 and 2 before LP! they’re short and some of my favorite peggy tracks are in there, have a good one Bob 🤙🏼

  8. Listen to LP! on Tidal, it sounds so much better. If you look into the ep & singles section you will find “offline”. I would do LP! First then the offline extra tracks after. The sequencing is fine both ways.

  9. Hi! Started watching your videos and it is really good. Could you please consider reacting to "LUV is Rage 2 (Deluxe)" by Lil Uzi Vert and "Goodbye and Good Riddance" by Juice WRLD?

  10. It's not your fault but you've given Kendrick so much attention that you've never considered listening to his former group members. Ab-Souls' Control System, Schoolboy Q's Blank Face LP and Jay Rocks' albums all deserve listens from you. Respectfully
