Acrylic Pouring on a Terracotta Pot – Lovely results, easy to learn! Fluid Art – Acrylic Pouring

I regularly run pot pouring workshops but recently I wasn’t very happy with the way they were turning out so I decided to do some experimenting to see if I could get a better result and I am happy to say that the pot really turned out so nicely so I wanted to share what I had done to help you when pouring your pots 😊

The products I have used are:
Eraldo Di Paolo acrylic paints – Magenta, Lavender – 1:3 ratio
House Paints – Yellow, Aqua 1:1 ratio
Pouring Medium – Floetrol

▬▬▬▬▬ ABOUT ME & MY ART ▬▬▬▬▬

I’m a abstract artist based in Australia but I was born in Zimbabwe, Africa. I take a lot of inspiration from my homeland and love all things art but in particular abstract art/mixed media. That said, I recently became interested in fluid art as it has so much depth and variety. I began my art journey in fabric where I specialised in making hand made fabrics for interiors but when I moved to Australia I transitioned my fabric work onto canvas. I am an intuituve artist and work more from feeling than structure which means I never really know what I am going to create but I trust the process (even though it can be frustrating sometimes) 😊 I love being creative and feel blessed to be able to share a little of myself with people each time I create. Hopefully in doing this, I provide aspiring artists with the tools, knowledge and the confidence to express their creative gifts with the world and create beautiful art for us all to enjoy! Thank you for your support, without you, I couldn’t keep on creating!
