  1. The problem with Nigeria's federal and state governments is that they always build projects far away from houses, from parks and gardens to railways. Not sure they conducted research on potential customers either. It's like they look towards North America instead of Europe for lessons.

  3. Nigerian leaders and policies will never make sense until nigerians wake up to the lies and deceptions that is religion. These are some of the things these religions were designed to be to the black race, its the reason the gave it to the black man.Everything the black race does, would do will be one step forward three steeps backward. Some of the progressing countries in Africa are the less religious ones, even then, their progress is designed to be for the benefit of the foreigner. I was just thinking, meditation before l saw this video, the biggest wickedness ever done to black people and Africans is religion. These churches today, the church system is how Roman killed the christ, higher self, the right thinking self/mind, not a physical army killing a physical person named jesus two thousand years ago. Not until Africans start believing in their names and self instead of someone else's made up name in the name of religion nothing is going to work.Even in the Bible God told Joseph and Mary to name their son Jesus, told Zakariah and Elizabeth to name their son John, teaching us the reason we have naming ceremony as a tradition and the importance of our given names. But these deception called religions made us believe in a personification called jesus instead, pulling Africans into idolatry. The consequence of that is the state of Nigeria today, killing, poverty, hardship, suffering, underdevelopment etc. If these religions were true Nigeria would be paradise, because all l read in the book is blessings for believing but the opposite is true in Nigeria.Because the believe is wrong which is even worse than not believing at all. This might not be relevant to some people but if it speaks to you, look it up, research these religions before you start Abusing me in your idol sky daddy name. Thank you.

  5. Buhari Administration and his braindead Administration amongst all the problems he is causing Nigeria to fail and go backward in addition to not having 24 hours electricity and pipe-borne water this is why APC and PDP should never be allowed to rule Nigeria again I also pray that all the criminal governors and local government chairmen would be removed this is corruption at it's best in a country that should be the China and Japan of Africa because we have criminals running our government unless this change drastically we will not see any change in this country.

  6. Remember that idiot from one of the south western states that was arrested in the United States Of America for scamming the U.S. government of hundreds of thousands of dollars unfortunately these are the type of people running the government and it's not bad enough they want to destroy another country because of greed fools and they think advanced nations like TheO.S.A. will just allow them to do the rubbish that rubbish and get away with it some of these fools forget they are not in Nigeria very soon because of idiots like this they will start banning Nigerians from entering their country it's so sickening and pathetic what we've become we better fix this problem before it's too late.

  7. The feasibility studies was poor.
    I think at this point.
Metrorail suits Lagos more than Abuja due to the population of Lagos.
Abuja should rely on motor vehicles for now.
    Maybe in the future….

  8. This is so sad to see! But what do we expect from the clueless old men we always elect into office? In well govern countries the minister responsible for this project will answer some questions but not in Nigeria. The youths should wake up and takeover their country.

  9. Just like street lights, trains aren't built with a business idea in mind that at sometime the money invested will be made back that's impossible. Even in the USA the trains do not make the money that was invested in it. They are maintained by the federal or state government through tax payers money and are kept running because it shows a progressive society. Whether there are passengers or not so long as people pay taxes the trains are supposed to run.

  10. It looks like like the light rail completed sections were done for propaganda to impress visitors and the jet setters.

It's not a lost cause, but people will have to push for it.

It's quite sad, that no lessons have been learned from the 1980s where so many projects were abandoned. This is 2022 and it still goes on. People really need to ask questions about what these projects are meant to achieve and if they are really necessary?

It all boils down to transparency and accountability. Which are still issues for administrations there.

  11. You get this when old men without proper information are at the helm of affairs. Here are the following why it failed:
    1. This was built to cater to the needs of the rich. Your findings show that the only developed place is to connect to the airport. Who are the ones that use the airport the most? The rich!
    2. They fail to start from where the larger population is: the average and the poor citizens.
    3. Proper research was not done but they only built it for people to see that they are working but not to serve the needs of the masses; short-sightedness.

My conclusion is, why not start from the denser areas which will attract the highest patronage and then, take it down to the less dense areas? Even at a very reduced fare rate, they will still make the money and be able to pay back because a lot of people are using it. This is a pain because it`s a national loss and failure.

  12. Misplaced of investment, same thing they did in Lagos Ibadan trail, build train that connect Onitsha to Lagos and witness people traveling for no reason. But the Ibadan train has only 6 passengers at first trip, Nigeria government is building to dominate and never to rightfully investing in the right places. Sai baba

  13. Bro. I really appreciate your interest on this project. Its sad that FCT govt and FG are not serious. The project is vital for a metrocity like abuja unfortunately you have bad people in government offices. They have to put in proper safety and security measures. Another is the final station. Its going to be a traffic hell once it starts. Nice one again

  14. While Buhari refused to complete the inherited project, he borrowed about $2 billion to build a railway in his ancestral land, Niger 🇳🇪. Amaechi once bragged that he had to beg Niger 🇳🇪 to allow Nigeria 🇳🇬 to build a railway line for her. Now you know how 'intelligent' Nigerian leaders are 🤣.

  17. People struggle everyday to get to work from nyanya axis to central business district. Building the rail there would be the best idea but no! They rather build to the airport from behind the uncomplicated World Trade Center building which is even difficult to access by foot, such a waste. I feel they can revamp that if they could extend the rail all the way from central area to nyanya axis that way people can move from nyanya axis down to the airport passing through central area.

  18. And your FCT Minister was just yesterday saying on TV that he focused on completing the roads and rails in the last 7 years…he is so slow. The Millenium Park just reopened a few days ago as well, after nearly 2 years. Thank goodness he is leaving next year!

  20. Corruption is the biggest pandemic in Nigeria that can never be cure. The country is so messed up that even unborn children are already thinking about how embezzled money once their born in the soil of Nigeria. Corrupt politicians are worshipped like saints and they embraced corruption to the fullest. This is why someone like me and money other Nigerians in diaspora can never move back home. We need to dissolve the so called Nigeria and have sovereign countries in the three regions.

  21. Aside other stations, the Idu station was very functional until the Abuja-Kaduna train attack happened. Also vandals damaged some of the Abuja rail tracks leading to halt in service. The Govt plans to install security surveillance before recommencing train services. Both bad Nigerians and Govt have blame. Well done bro, I feel your pain.
