  2. Love u Lex. Founder of the least ignorant state of bliss. Your proof, that you don’t have to be in a state of ignorance, to be in a state of bliss. A sad day you ever become truly Jaded Lex, will be the day, the muuusic dies.

  3. GREAT interview, thanks! The stuff about OT levels seems similar to other spiritual belief systems across the world. Things like varying ideas and states of possession ,(demonic or otherwise), being rid of an active mind (as it pertains to having an overactive mind, or monkey mind). It goes back to possibly helpful ideas that are misused and misunderstood.

  4. Before he even spoke about what was ethical in the cause of promotion you could tell it was layed up.
It's been no different in any other case of religious righteousness in what is ethical or not.

  5. It’s shocking to hear how naive Lex Fridman is approaching the ideas of Scientology and is finding beauty in that sci-fi bullshit. It also seems that he didn’t do any research beforehand. 😢

  6. Of course people feel a bit better after auditing. It's just a form of poorly done psychotherapy. If you talk to literally anyone about your personal issues and they help talk you through it and find the root cause, you'll feel better.

  7. If there are only 35,000 members how do they get all their money? Where does a religion get hundreds of millions to own all the property they own?

  8. 59:48 Wait what?! The correct way is to say GIF??

That's what I USED TO DO before Google and seemingly the entire world told me otherwise. So I switched to JIF… have I just been a sheeple this whole time?? @lexfridman help 🙏

  9. 1:58:10 The description given. Just made Scientology sound like a parasite. The only way it can function is by depending on those that aren't IN Scientology. So if no one supported it. It would most likely be a thing not even worth mentioning.

  10. I don't watch all of Lex's videos (only so many free hours per week, unfortunately) but every now and then I do and it's amazingly informative. He's getting better and better at being an interviewer and an interlocutor and I think this one in particular was helpful for those of us who are considering any religion and/or cult. Our belief systems should always be interrogated and I think Aaron is a good case study for why it's so important.

Thanks for what you do, Lex. Appreciate you helping me learn about the nature of my reality.

  11. Criticizing Christianity is perfectly justified and often done in the western world. But I am missing the just as strong critic of Islam. I live in Europe and I am not afraid of Christianity, contrary to the USA, most Christians are perfectly harmless here.

Not so the Muslims, they have very strong beliefs and lie about their liberalism and openness. As long they are a minority they are indeed harmless. Still they demand for their women to be face covered (no way to identify them) and many women are forced to wear a hijab. They want anti-blasphemy laws and so on. The Muslims pretend these hard Muslims are exceptions, but this a lie. Most Muslims approve terrorism and still have the nerve to say Islam is a religion of peace. They are an isolated community, incapable to mix with other people of any other religion.

The future of Europe looks bleak and I really don’t know what to do. Any opposition to Islam is stamped as Islam phobia. And the debate is then closed.
