A ZOMBIE CHRISTMAS MUSICAL?: Anna and the Apocalypse

What happens when you put a Scottish Christmas in a zombie apocalypse and have it set to a pardon of high school musical? A fun little romp to give a watch, although im not the biggest fan.

  1. I think your to hard on the movie. It’s not a masterpiece but it’s a fun Movie. I think the idea of blending zombies and Christmas musical together went about as well as could be expected, which is basically just being a silly fun movie to watch on Christmas

  2. This seems like another one of those apocalypses that shouldnt have happened, super slow moving, very non-threatening zombies somehow overtake the military with no problems. And are you telling me the skinny ass Vice principal managed to somehow tie up the much much bigger Dad of the main character, without seemingly any resistance?

  3. I enjoyed your video, entertaining as always, but personally I really enjoyed this movie much more than you did. Pretty much every point you made is valid, but as a fun romp / homage / satire, I got a real kick out of it. Many of your complaints about character deaths and silly behavior are complaints I have about so many 'serious' zombie movies as well, that I guess they just didn't bother me here.

  4. Your outro is too loud, you should drop the volume to a lower than your regular volume. Your voice is really soothing so that outro is already pretty startling, it’s also a good idea if you want people to be able to fall asleep to your videos

  5. Honestly I love cheesy zombie movies, so even if this is lacking in some key areas..It still looks fun.

I would like to draw attention to a bit of a head scratcher though haha. So in Anna and..the dude's (forgot his name already, oop) musical number they're supposed to be heading to school right? But they meet on a single path coming from opposite directions so….Which direction is the school in again? Do they just meet up at this one specific spot in the graveyard everyday and then walk to the school after that?

  6. Hard to say without seeing the movie and the scene in context… but since the movie pays tribute to Sean of the Dead and other movies so much, part of me wonders if the weird sexualised high school play is supposed to be referencing Jingle Bell Rock from Mean Girls??

  7. I don't like musicals, but this movie was good enough for me. It was weird, but ok weird and I am weird, so who am I to complain I guess. I liked it. Not loved it, but I have definitely watched worst. It felt like a script written by college Arts Kids, and I was one once so I kinda understand it. All of it to say I didn't actively dislike it, sorry but as you said it is a movie best watched drunk and I currenty am really drunk, so it's the best I can do as a review. I really like your channel man, you are one of the few Youtuber who I am thrilled to see a new release from. I always feeled like it was useless to tell this to you cool Youtubers, but was reminded lately by one of how important such comments can be for you! Even when not drunk you are one of those few channels that I felt genuinely sad when I hitted the last vid, letting me wish for EVEN MORE contents, and that means you are one of my favorite ones! It I remember it, I may come back tomorrow and leave a true comment, who knows? In the meantime, I hope you see this comment (it's okay if you laugh at me, I will probably do this too if I see it again. I am not one to get angry at such trivial things. I wouldn't post when drunk if I wasn't hoping to get a good laugh later on) as your work is appreciated!
