Thanks a lot for watching and safe journeys!

Watching this has made me realise how much of the island I didn’t see. Looks allot more built up from when I went in 2019, especially the walking street. Stayed on a beachfront bungalow on sunrise beach at Castaway, pricey but really recommend it. Great video as always Gabriel 👍🏼
👍👍👍
Nice video – thanks
Happy 2023! Is there a particular reason you don't smoke ganja anymore?
Wow, it changed so much since 2004….but like everywhere….looking forward of a video from KoPhayam…
i went to koh lipe a few years back and it was so busy i could only get 2 nights accomodation at 2 different hotels. 1 night in a beach hut and 1 night in a 5 star hotel. it was way over crowded with not much beach area to swim due to being so many boats. for me, it wasnt worth the 6 hour speed boat ride each way from koh lanta. i wouldnt go again. koh lanta was nicer and khao lak didnt have clear waters but the beaches were amazing and there was way much more to do.
Amazing island. Watching with daughter. She's got her eye on those luxury beach bungalows with private pool 🤣
That rasta bar says in Thai to rent land 2 ngan (a Thai land measurement). Then the number to call to inquire about renting.
don't smoke weed, that's okay, more for us lol
Gabriel… Thailand Buddhism is Bull Shit…Thai Buddhists people don't like to follow Rules, Regulations Buddha Teaching…
Therfore Thai people are Fake Buddhists including monks,Abbots,Nuns, etc
And u can see Thai Buddhists people( monks,Abbots) drink Alcohol everywhere and Thai Buddhists people gamble Lottery everywhere…
There are many Buddha Teaching Rules, Regulations u don't know…
Gabriel…U go to Thailand Similan Island is more beautiful than Koh Lipe…
Wow what a spectacular view of island. Thanks a lot.
Excellent work Gabe Happy New Year!!! Smoking and vlogging don't mix! A beer occasionally does!
This man's aging works wonders
Fantastic beaches and I can see the mixing of the Buddhist and Muslim people being more prominent to the south.
They have really developed the island fast. When I was there in 2006 and 2008 the only traffic was on the sea.
There was nothing on the island besides bungalows and some diveshops with a few bars in between. And a sea gypsy village.
There wasn’t even a pharmacy to be found, which I needed due to a bad chicken dinner 😄
greetings from Kuala Lumpur! we were amazed with your opening shot of the fire-eaters. Looks like the Osma Action does a decent enough job in low light, dare we say better than the Action 3? anyway enjoy your stay in paradise Gabe, but if you're ever in Malaysia you should try Pulau Redang (Redang Island) ❣
You just missed a chance at 7:43 Gab 😄
Very nice! How was the customs process from Langkawi to Koh Lipe, was it an easy process? I saw when you arrived at Koh Lipe, I believe you did not have to go through customs, correct? Thanks!
Going for 2 weeks in March! Great Video, thanks for sharing!
Beautiful
Reviewing this video and loving it. More commentary follows.
But first what struck me about Koh Lipe were two things:
* Koh Lipe have a Goa type vibe, yes?
** And, Koh Lipe is spelled KOH LIPE and not KO LIPE.
1) You get everything out of one place that can be gotten out of a place.
2) Seattle's American Hotel hostel is $143 / night for 4 beds with possible roomies. Crazy …
3) Rusticity rules in much of this video. Nice lush scenery but I still would not recommend eating in ANY restaurant that is not well-patronised, and does not have good turnover. You know, just saying …
4) Beautiful gtem coloured waters there are in Thailand, aren't there?
5) 15:36 — It all looked much more touristy and visited, from here to about 19:10.
6) TRIP-py birdie at 18:03, should have gone into stand-up, so funny was his yammering.
7) OK so after that jungle hike at about 20:00, how do you know that the mosquitoes you encountered won't give you a mean case of DENGUE FEVER? They can, you can.
8) Ever clamour for a compass? I mean, have you ever been lost to the point of wondering: How in the Hell am I gonna get out of this joint semi-alive? Or, is your sense of direction super on point?
9) Dang, those massage parlors … Any hookers up in those joints? (The things that much you go go, hmmmm …)
10) At 28:10 Did I miss the caption and not see what you ate? Because I could not.
And finally, BA-BOOF, them fiya-works! Fireworks made everything mo'bettah, don't they? Great way to end a video, Gabriel!
So much nostalgia watching this! Had the best trip to this island in Dec 2019! We turned up with nothing booked, grabbed some wifi and found a little bungalow at Lipe beach resort. Was such a delight! Can't wait to be back! Fully agree about it meeting the expectations, just hope it's as good when I return!
