  4. We all know why Misa was standing on the bridge Morgan. Without Light she felt like she had nothing left. And to be fair, Misa murdered a lot of people too. I don't feel sorry for her.

Matsuda, the comic relief, the one that was bringing coffee, the one that loved and trusted Light the most being the one that shoots Light, tears of rage and disappointment streaming down his face, realizing he was completely betrayed, screaming as he keeps shooting and shooting, wanting to be Light's executioner…is still painful to watch after all these years. how do you trust again after this?

  13. A Shinigami won't die if they write a name in the death note. That's their whole purpose. They are gods of death. They kill people
    A Shinigami dies if they kill a person for the sake of another human they love.(Like Zeus killed the person who was gonna kill Misa and Rem killed L who was gonna end up arresting Misa leading to her death)
    So no. Ryuk won't die. He won't die just because he wrote Light's name.

  14. For those who want to know, that and Morgan if you're reading this. But when it comes to Misa well….

    I believe and if anyone knows for sure if I'm wrong or if I'm right.

    But it was confirmed by the author that Misa committed suicide viva jumping off a building a year later on Valentines day. Because of the death of in her absolute belief, her one and only true love. Light Yagami.

  15. Idk where I read it but supposedly when misa was standing on the edge it was Valentine’s Day and her heart broke and likely jumped 💔 (cant say it’s confirmed though, just likely)

  20. I think it's best that he died, because if he only got arrested&jailed (without Ryuk killing him), it may have been a little too open ended…;
    The thing is, Light has cult followers, millions of them probably…. And they've already proven to be ready to use violence for him.
    Even if they put him in jail, they could literally send an army to attack the jail and free him.
    And with Light's intellect, you'd have to wonder whether he could plan something out. So as long as he lived, I think the story would never be fully over for me.
