sorry but the best parts of this game is up the start to lady hanna.
Everything after that, just nosedives very sharply down. the reality is, they got nothing finished, had to rush out the game, its unpolished, so they released a barebones game thats rushed out and had to scratch many stories and backgrounds resulting in many characters just being dropped or unused.
this is why the story jumps from A to 5 years later etc etc.
Made more clear with the lack of endgame content, lack of exploration, crafting, games, secrets etc. just click and go, click and go, click and go.
what they do have…boring sidequests.
There are 3 certainties. Death, taxes, and Final Fantasy music being built different.

it might be busy work but i STRONGLY recommend doing all the side quests. you'll see why.
this series has invigorated my love of this game. got the plat already but i might need to check the DLCs
