  1. While the in-depth look into Toby's career is interesting, especially as someone who pretty early on became a fan and stopped watching his content before his decline, I do have to say this:
The way you covered the abuse stories, showing other videos supporting him and left them pretty uncommented, I find very problematic. Even as to go so far as stating the text messages could've beeen faked. Like, is there any evidence to support that possibility?!

The way the one woman just outright victim blame the abused exes for not leaving sooner and constantly saying "Now I'm not saying A, but… " and then proceeds to basically say A is just inexcusable. Especialy leaving that as is and not even commenting on it. Also, for example, choosing to do Molly does not suddenly make it OK to be drugged unwillingly, that should go without saying, right?!
And just because some women did not experience this kind of abuse, or didn't view it as problematic (for instance his ex Jaclyn? did definitely mention some form abuse in her video) doesn't mean he would never do that to someone else, you just can't speak to that. "I wasn't there, you weren't either" Tara says to the audience, clearly to put doubt in the viewers mind.

Look, yes, unfortunately, we tend to never know for sure what really happened in abusive relationships, that's why they are so hard to prosecute and people tend to have pretty strong opinions about it.
I will continue to believe surviviors! There's nothing to gain from falsely accusing someone, and doubting (multiple) people who've come forward and continue to defend an abuser does more harm than you could know. Especially because that pattern is still so prevalent in todays society.

I hope that in future videos you can put more care into the portrayal of these stories, I don't attest any intent behind the way you did it. But imho, as someone with this big of an audience, taking care in the way you're covering these important issues is key.

  2. Just want to say that your coverage of Rittenhouse shows that you have little to no knowledge of the case. Sensational music and wording to speak of a case where the defendant was not charged and all of the evidence of his innocence was posted online shortly after the incident. The media overblowing the situation is dangerous to that person, who was a child at the time. I would expect a more unbiased take on things like that in the future, I am on no political side. If you would like to know more, I recommend some videos from actual justice warrior on this subject.

  3. Shame, very funny and talented man, but he just stopped making content.

  4. Honestly the Kyle Rittenhouse case blows my mind how polarizing it is.

Its gross how both sides have interpreted things. The right has deified him as some holy warrior for justice. While the left has made him out to be a racist psychopathic killer.

People are fucking nuts in general.

  5. Wow this is horribly sad. He's just a lonely millennial who isn't navigating this new, sensitive world very well.

He's clearly got issues but he's been chewed up and spit out by a world who once loved exactly what he is.

  6. At this point in my life, I've lost hope in my favorite celebrities. Some being not my favorite anymore because of what I found out about them. A part of me still has hope for Toby but that's because I have too much sympathy for everyone. Either way, I'm not expecting celebrities to be who I want them to be anymore. On a side note, it's hard for some people to stay still. Like I have to do a little bit of movement myself when I'm sitting down.

  7. Earlier this year I was reintroduced to him via some queerphobic bile he tweeted for attention. He needs to let go of the past and move the fuck on with his life. Me and my friends existing are not the problem.

  8. why are you lying about his channel numbers i get this was 8 days ago when uploaded but if he gained almost a million subs in 8 days hes doing well.also very misleading with the scandal after scandal.nothing proven and it seems the the biggest hurtle he has is his own lack of content production and mental instability.he took very right leaning views made them public then disowned the right leaving next no one whos views over lap as weirdly as his.his points on rittenhouse are dead on though but most rittenhouse supporters are trump supporters.

  9. I'm 24 so I think I fall perfectly under the age demographic that watched him.

I never watched him but I remember seeing his music videos. Seeing current day videos of him made me think he was high on coke. It's as if he's on child talk mode 24/7 that laugh kills me.

  10. While I support some of his political views, I think he comes towards the topic with an immature energy. I can admire his support for causes I believe in, and view his recent videos as him simply not caring anymore what happens to his youtube career, as he has probably realized it's over. I think the man is trying to find something bigger than himself, and this is why we are seeing him in this field of thought. I don't hold it against him, but do see how he seems unhinged. Tbh however, some of the issues we on the conservative angle of life are upset about, are very triggering to some. Child abuse, media manipulation, vanity being front and center instead of hard work, etc. Randomly talking about these issues… all at once… can make you seem like you lost it. You CAN lose it looking into these issues. It can really mess with the foundation of concensus reality you previously held. I wish him well, and hope that he finds the peace that I think he is searching for. He still needs a lot of work, as many who are so quick to crucify him online for affirmation that they are superior, also likely need, yet wouldn't tell a soul online in fear of losing that facade. I respect Toby for allowing the world to take a deeper look at him fearlessly. We aren't all anywhere near as pretty as we present ourselves to be.

  11. Only just started the video but I see the image of his video about meeting Rittenhouse, which means that I can say I’m kinda stunned to learn that the “cute win fail” guy is a nazi. Ay caramba

  12. Looks like Kanye and Tobuscus both took the divorced dad pipeline to far right extremism.
Man, doing the bare minimum to be a decent human, like wearing a mask and not saying hate speech, are SUCH an infringement on your freedoms.

  13. The other ex girlfriends video is so… sickening. People change, and obviously abusers dont abuse every person in their lives. Unless she was somehow privy to both sides of the relationship when they were together i dont see how she could be talking all that much about what she knew about him.

  14. Honestly never heard of the guy but how the hell does he think he was cancelled for something that happened years before and didn't affect him in anyway when it happened he continued to do well after it was brought up by the looks of it the people who watched him grew up and wasn't interested in his content anymore and instead of changing to get the new generation of kids to watch him he continued with the same stuff so the older generation doesn't care because its childish and the new generation doesn't have a clue what he's talking about and now he's just a loser

  15. Hi, how are you? Great video, kept me engaged for the most part.

95 minutes ago I did not know who this man was and is. Now, I at least know his story, and I feel sad for him. I've watched a bunch of your videos and it appears, to me at least, that you look at both sides of the story and try to let the viewer to form an opinion that is unbiased.

I appreciate that. Also, I'm wanted to add my opinion on the subject of this and many, of the videos in this series.

I feel you should, at the very least, bring up the issue of mental health. It's an issue that affects so many people and is slowly getting the attention it deserves.

Age can be a big factor when it concerns an illness that can seemingly come from nowhere.

I'm not saying that's the case here, but it might be and considering the size and age range of your audience, it could be helpful to at least mention it. You could also provide links to helpful websites.

Again, just my opinion but I thought I should mention it.

    Cheers and love, from Canada
