Those radiators are expensive man, we need at least 20% off
Mike great video Dewitt’s radiators are the best Nothings better than American made have one in my fox body in black race style excellent excellent radiator. The air dam in the front of your car they actually make it in aluminum not sure if you saw that I have one on my car huge difference over the plastic ones love the way you going with the car everything looks great like always great video thank you buddy for sharing
I just bought the derale 16833 dual fan setup. My 84 was originally a 4 cylinder and it never had that air dam piece. What I did have however is what looks like an air intake tube that ran from the bottom of the front passenger fender up to where the battery would sit under the hood. All my wiring is there now so I guess I’ll be ordering an air dam piece. The town is paving my streets so I haven’t driven my mustang after the derale install. Originally I was using one derale 16 inch and it started getting hot in 80+ degree weather when in traffic but I had no shroud either. One of the little 11 inch fans seems like it moves more air then the big 16 inch. Summer time will definitely make you iron out your cooling system though.
85 sorry
Is that Volvo power steering pump compatible with hydro boost? Thanks
You do good work man.
So the guys running a front bumper that’s lower than stock or have the air dam mounted to the bumper ( I think to keep air from getting under the car ) – do those provide the same benefit?
Lookin' good.
I just used an sn95 radiator in mine, no issues at all, used factory sn95 brackets as well, factory sn95 coolant tank and factory sn95 cooling fan.
Looking good
Car is looking good Mike!
I got a window AC for my garage so I can work it in while it’s hot.
Nice job. Was waiting for updates. This is coming together nicely. Great info on the air deflector as well. Suffering from 210* temps as well so going to try this out!!
👍👍
Awesome 😎!!! 👍🏻😎👍🏻👊🏻✌🏻
What waist of time with installing d gas bottle i would eliminate it and use 3 core radiator with cap with overflow aluminum bottle.
Use an overflow tank instead of “spuing onto the ground “
Can you confirm the air damage was stock on the 87, but not on an 86. If so does the 87 air damn bolt right up to the 85?
Lol. Told you so
52 days of 100 degree plus my area of Texas! It has slowed me down as well. That rad and degas bottle is perfect! Nice work!
Hey Mike, thanks for the info. Where did you order your air dam for your 86? I’d like to get one too
Added a Mach1 chin on my 86, definitely works. Still running the sve radiator and contour fan set. Had to ditch the sve fans with the supercharger and now adding ac they wouldn’t keep up.
Your going to really enjoy that Volvo power steering, I did that conversion this summer.
Dewitt’s is right in my backyard good to know.
