  1. Devs not playing their game is quite common in the industry lately. It's sad but not new. They try to listen to what people who play the game for 40 hours per week say and they're just as out of touch with the common player because their chat is just full of people playing other games screaming "POGGERS" all day.
    And now we're here.
    The only way this league is saved is if it's not the first drastically overtuned hot garbage mess of a release that we normally get. If we're getting nerfed, but the Archnem hot garbage one-shot fiesta that is end-game stays the same… no one has fun and we have another 2-week everyone quits league.

  2. I hope the patch notes are alot more changes. Iam not a big fan of the place poe is going to.
    If they wanna nerf so many defense thing at once atleast make sure we have more new once.

  3. I really wish they would shake up the defensive options, not nerfing auras though. I find it boring just running grace and determination for every damn character. It gets so stale, especially after 3-4 leagues of the same setups and builds.

  4. yep and cheeeeeeeeeeeers! thanks for the coverage as usual! its suprising that 6 month and this is all they thought was worthy to throw at us to early but so much of it is just thme getting stuff out in the open ahead of the hype cycle idk. it serious is a "meh" one and i think itll be really bad for most if nothing comes back, but i think minions lost quite alot~ im glad most of the meta lost plenty though i think A LOT OF NUMBERICAL DAMAGE nerfs are coming and i think patrchnotes will be massive. the nerf to almost everything was expected and warrented, spell suppression feelsl ike it was done well for now but i want ot know how theyre treating mobs cause some of that shit is scary and while im fine, i just know im gonan have ot play a shadow/ranger build again cause im terrible at gearing for anything else hah. im suuuuuuuuuuuper happy with the change to explosive arrow so far since i think it means i can still super comfortably level with it in sc as a league starter if i run out of ideas but im very worried thats not the only nerfs, and the nerf to mana reservation from the mastery is gutting mostly for early game, but they killed defience banner mostly so i guess ill get that mana back? itll be weird trying to build it, but now that there was a honestly noticable buff to EA hit version im actualy looking at playing that as a second build to roll an ignite EA league starters gear into HAH. like its a bit troll but ea hit raider has proven well buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut were losing alot of other shit. completly deleteing life based blessing from the game hurts with nothing else but maybe new skill? i guess it was overpowered, but that tech was sooooooooo fun to build in mind especialy for champions using it to auto trigger adrenaline etc etc etc. theres so much to unpack and so little time i cant wait for patchnotes and the revealllllllllllllllll. like for rela hahahah. also TRICKER REWORK LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS HAHAHAHAHAHAH. also soulrend number buff looks promising if tricker can get serious again~ like a lot of middling stuff, some out of touch justifications for why/how something is change, and overall some seriously lack luster "buffs" with some seriously impactful nerfs to most players that dont feel warrented when we are going to be in a POST RECOMBINATORS archnem mods endgame but i just work know till i play it. weve survived and thrived worse for sureeeeeeeeeee and i aint gonna think shit till patchnotes otherwise~ i have no idea how to make a build atm but im glad ill just grab a content creators like ziz and jump into league start cause unless something seems super fun, super op, or just really wholesomely improved imma just have ot roll the dice~ hate it but its also kinda fun for a the first 12 hours hahahahaha. ALSO i swear with blessing, adrenaline, omni, AND defensive nerfs, omni LS champ is hurting an they aint evne gutted nightblade, Ls or any uniques hahahahahah. time will tell but good luck everyone and cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers!!!!!!!

  5. i still feel liek archnem obsd being a nightmare. nerfing the early/mid game defences and aura options is miserable cause now we lose defence AND damage. so its just going back to the fucked old softcore glass cannon meta or you just sit there and suffer with limited damage potential cause dieing sucks. in a post recombinators state im very worried that while getting to maps might be fine or w/e depending on the league, but pushing yellow, mainly red maps will end up being extreeeeeeeeeeemly tedious or unfun depending on what massive sweeping stuff is in the patchnotes. there has to be some insane stuff idk but the manifesto is a guiding light for theyre efforts and intentions nad it doesnt inspire any enough hope in me. ill still play but unlike a 2+ months league im thinking this might just be a 2+ weeks league until we wait for w/e theyre preping us for come 3.20 hahaha. still dependsing on ANY archnem changes/buff (for the players), and anyyyyyyyy changes to eldrich altar and the atlas passive tree. hoenstly think the atlas passive tree could use a solid shake up too cause its starting to feel stale but alot of the placements feel tedious or annoying to have ot tkae with the pathing hah. cant wiat and cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers

  6. the only problem i have with omni nerf though is that (after playing and enjoying an omni ls champ with 1300~ omni and decent 85/90%til gear) is that it feels a little heavy handed for a build that almost exclusivly needs soooooooo much gear pressure to make it work well. getting 1800 omni and being where you were at 1200 might be fine, but getting it functional at 1200 might feel useless if a bunch of other nerfs are compounding~ but honestly its more that ashes didnt get touched nad its a standalone "whole package" not to mention its gonna have the reservation after the mastery nerf so now its bigger hah. omni is also just a high gate with its upfront cost so i know theyll be some bonkers builds ESPECIALY now that sentinel attribute stacking boot mods are gone so idk~ it just means that 40ex for the amulet is NOT the least of your worries and its just the basics for the ivnestment. prob wont feel good or worth putting together as must over timme or in smaller amounts cause the res will suck a tiny bit~ though honestly i think its going to be perfectly fine too even if a little akward~ but ive never tried ot force in full chaos res on my omni build yet either~ but i have like 80%+ all res to give up HAH. also the nerf to melding was perfect for it and makes it akward but way more reasonable but its def gonna be hilarious trying to see an omni build fit in melding without mageblood cheeeeeeeeeers

  7. like low key, depending on nubmer nerfs and supports and other defence and new optinos etc etc etc, explosive arrow HIT VERSION on raider is looking supriisngly spicy and fun. balormage did it for one of the event (maybe bpl?) and had fun with it and its not relient on anything crazy or omni etc. i probably wouldnt be league starting it unless alot of other things get hammered or i find it really fun after people theorycraft it but i just liek the idea. wanted ot make it work but just didnt have enough time and if 3.19 is just watered down 3.17 then im hopeful for some weird off side stuff ot be worth the new fun angles ot build. im very used ot explosive arrow in general on champ and ele, so i might league start ele with all the free damage to maybe survive and get some basic gear going with chaos but idk time will tell. honestly raider with the extra suppress/phase/avoid/onsl etc, while basicly just pure "get it elsewhere" type stuff, sounds super fun early and idk~ depending on how things look maybe you go deadeye at the end hah. doubt it, radier op if you push frenzy version im sure (im not a rich frenzy rings boi but still solid) so idk. im glad i have hope~ as ranting and drunk as i may be hahaha. patchnotes seriously couldnt come sooner its nuts. they really left us with this wet papper bag of hot air and no idea what to do except complain and wait. reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally hope the reveal is hype as always ANDDDDDDDDDD that we get patchnotes right after. cheeeeeeeers

  8. rip the fun of +3 AG setups for non minion builds tho too. everything for that makes sense sicne its a massive 3.15 level stretch of death and nerfs without any followup communication for what design space it offers for 3.20+~ also taking +2 off necro and putting it on helmets makes it so hard cause your still losing 3 lvs totla on all those insane pseudo 7L + bis minion helmets hah. glad i dont play minions these days but man i wish it wasnt so brutal to see <3 <3 <3 <3 cant even recombinate a +1 spectres chest anymore and spectres still lost monster lvs damn

  9. 4:01 im very hopeful for defience banner though agreed. while it sucks to lsoe alot of the early defence, and you deffinitly cant run it until you lock down your res/mana cost issues, it offers alot of interesting playaround space for late league where you can get alot of crit mitigation with enough aura effect. AND with alt qual getting nerfed too, regular has aura effect and now that ashes will be even more important for so many builds, you could see some serious power to a 50% qual defeince banner hah. cheeeeeeeeeers

  10. i still wounder ziz, and you would know best, but will animate weapon poison version meme see any serious damage potential buffs with the minions change for innate hidden debuff removals or is that only exlusive to creature minions i assume?

    side note arakaalis got gutted and thats sooooo painful to see esp after the vault pass skin being so fun. that skill is now 10000000% only big dick wallet endgame viabe with a squaire and evne thne itll be potnetily not worth the oppertunity cost HGAH. sucks hard cause i love that build conceptualy but makes sense cause otherwise it was way too pwoerful aaaaaaaaaaaaaand could be more buffs in other place swe dont know about so cheeeeeeers

    also why the hell did they just remove 6% reduce ele damage taken from apthfinder haha was akward. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the "flask chargeson hit" nerf is soooooooo weird if they dont want to undo the lack of internal cd but want ot make it feel miserable. FIVE CHARGES was the threshold for feeling kinda ok, but now there is no "auto flasking" yet again and if your not pre33ssing thme then your dead 300+ more times cause they dropped off at a random time. it sucks, and i always hated leveling or playing with 3 charge early version. its not enough and theres just not enough realistic sources to increase the charges for most buidls which is sad. suuuuuuuuuuuper hopeful for again, more buffs to counteract stuff else where for player agency and options buffs cause i dont think a depressed/nerfed state of the game is realistic, but ohh well. its weird how they cling to some of the archaic and draconian type aspects of theyre game without much clear discussion besides "because we feel that way"~ there vision is valid, but theres a mechanical and real world impact for things like this and it just feelsl ike such a weird hill to die on, when theres soooooooooo much more that either keeps getting through or gets shafted without enough consideration cheeeeeeers. heres hoping we get customizable minion builds in poe 2 or they might jsut be deleted hah

  11. yesssssssssssssssssss 7:00 !!!!!! soulrend was always one of my favorites but never felt like it had a good place or good use. spellsling was soooooooooooooooo fun when it was chaossligner meta nad evne after but mannnnnnnnnnnnn that 15% RMR loss is massive for spellslinger imo especialy trying ot make it online early game andddddddddd rip miners btw. but still it makes me hopeful. trickster rework will 100000000000% determine its fate, but almost 25% more accross the board for soulrend is a super promising start! hyped for that just cause its so fun to play even if it gets alittle middling hah. but idk~ anyt number of nerfs or counter effects could happen in patchntoes but i cant wait hahahaha~ mannnnnnnnnnnnn what i wouldnt give to dust of a chaos trickers and NOT BE RUNNING ED CONTAGION HAH

  12. soulrend in general, and especialy soulrend spellslinger if i can get some juicey flat daamge +1 wands early would be a fun starter just for generic mapping whites/yellows and chaos recipie farming ot fund a second character. i didnt make a seocnd character till i made an 80ex+ omni build after 2 months of grinding on my league starter, and itn such an unclear meta im dieing to make plans for early progression so im constantly changing it up and feeling good and making new characters before my burn out so i have plenty of optinos hahah cheeeeeeeers. EA, soulrend, or seismic (never played it but still hope its dead ngl, give other peopel the need ot make new content for me hah) or something to start, and push myself into some soreta trickster/raider by red mapping. still mgiht just alch and go style with the right keystones through t16s for the whole first month if theres no substantial uimprovmenets to trade functionality but we will see yeeeeeeet

  13. doomerism aside, i honestly think they just wanted to lay the nerfs out to us right and center nad get it out of the way cause (copium) the reveal could be packed with some serious stuff. this was just character balance~ and im seriously hopeful that enemy mob, atlas passive tree, mapping, or trading mechanisms are getting major buffs/reworks thmeselves which is the cause for such a lackluster "character balance (nerfs)" after 6 months. eitherweay hope to the heavens and itll be interesting even if i m passionate enough to nit pick alot of details. also sunder buff hypeeeeeeee hahahahahahaha

  14. absolutly deleteing divine blessing felt liek a stab to the soul that i never epxected comnig. its MORE BUTTONS, less stress on damage auras when we want defence, great wayys to build aroudn for 4 sockets, and amazing for champion adrenaline stuff. i hope theres new gems ot fix this, or other optinos but its so sad to see and i almost never had a build ot fit it into that iddnt already have os much damage that this becomes irrleevent hahaa cheeeeeeeeeeeeers. also im soooooooooooooooooooooo glad that a LOT of the ea/ and builds ive done so far are gonna be fine aura reservation was but i u usla skip the grace or determination ones and still fit sutff in. if i drop defience banner till super late game/ 0 mana cost times and such ill be very comfotrable even with a few passive lost.

    I WILL SAY THAT I AM VERY SKEPTICAL AND WORRIED ABOUT HOW MUCH MORE MISERABLE THE PASSIVE POINT STARVATION IS GONNA FEEL LIKE. so much is being put there where we already have stuff we needed, and with gearing already being so impactful but so much harder ot late game i dont know how im gonna feel being stuck at lv 90 cause i die 578 times by t16s and not having enough defences online cause i want damage to kill for loot to get gear ORRRRRRRR having too much dfence (still randomly dieng cause bad player) but trying to grind away on shit gear to push levels to 95/96 where it feels good so i can compeltyl respec and go bakc ot glass cannon or have both hah. its honestly a terrible feeling buuuuuuuuuuuut i can see it being a good design space for us to be in c ause otherwise everything is too cookie cutter idk~~~~~~ cheeers and hopefully something new to league start, and a suuuuuuuuuuuuper engaging new mechanics type league will have me waaaaaaaaaaaay more engaged and forgettign about stuff till i realize it moth 2 when i make new characters hahahaha

What got me was the line "Carry out a routine balance pass on a selection of underperforming skill and support gems, with the aim of making them more attractive options." followed by a very short list of gems most people don't care about, and the 2-5% buff they're getting to make them all still worthless next league.

  16. I was okay with the previous title of the video and your opinion along the line of "boring and uninspiring". One league of nothing and one league of nothing to hype for. Hoping patch notes gives something interesting for me to look forward to or this will be the first time I sit out for 2 leagues in a row.

  18. How can you call this balancing when minion is still meta and melee physical and most bow skills are dumpster tier? I really want to play POE but they just make more bloatware content that is unfun while rearranging chairs of a sinking titanic.

    I'm being a little overly dramatic but balance and fun in POE has been in a downward spiral for years now despite them dumping tons of new shiny content.

  20. I am not that much of an experienced player. I am a casual player who fell in love with the game and plays only when the laptop is charging. I did invest money in the game (stash tabs, map, flask n gem tabs, pets). I look forward to twitch drops where I managed to get beautiful back attachments! I am still learning (crafting is hard because I need to play lot more to accumulate currency). Expedition league was my first (I started playing during last 10-15 days of the league). I don't trade either.
    My biggest problem with this balance manifesto is that I was planning to play Necro build. I loved Pathfinder, but this time I wanted to choose Necro. Minions focused build. And when I saw the balance manifesto my heart just dropped 🙁 I am just getting a grip on the game. I don't manage to finish the challenges 🙁 I hate how every successive league they make it hard for newbies! I had most fun in Archnemesis league! The only league I managed to reach till Maps!
    I will wait for the launch to see how it is…
    Right now, I am having fun playing Only Minions build in Last Epoch!

  23. If it's seismic, ea, or ls meta again I'm legit skipping my 1st league since starting like 8 years ago. If they're losing me I'm 1000% positive they're gonna lose a shit ton more players with less investment than I have.
