  1. I once had a truck with no gas guage. I kept a 5 gallon plastic jersey can with me and when the truck ran out I would fill the tank with the 5 gallong can and then get to the nearest gas station and refill the truck and the jersy can. My kids got a marker and wrote dad's gas guage on the out side of the can as that was literally when I would fill my tank – when the Jersey was empty.

  2. you ever consider having petrol at your garage area? you could have deisel, gasoline & DEF dispensed into your equipment, SO YOU DONT RUN OUT OF FUEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND OF COURSE, GLOVES & SAFETY GLASSES WHILE WELDING

  3. My Jeep ran out of fuel (factory recall on the gauge) in the middle of Georgia while driving home from Florida to Northern Indiana. The tow truck ran out of gas right after he got off the highway. He coasted to the gas station and filled his truck then unhooked ours.

  4. Most people with vehicles that always have to be ready to go keep a hidden key under a piece of black or grey duct tape in a non-obvious place. Taping it to the back of the rear license plate works well, because removing a license plate to get to a key is enough of a hassle to encourage you to keep other keys more readily available. And it is the Boss's responsibility to plan for these things, not the employee. Not keeping the gas tanks always full on a work truck, that has to respond to emergencies in the middle of the night, and not even carrying a five gallon can of gas is simply idiotic.

  5. Got my zipper hoodie last week. Right when you said it would be. It's AWESOME! SO soft on the inside. Of course I had to customize it. I put flames on everything! My new hoodie is no exception

  6. I'm an Aussi, live in a country area and drive a BMW sedan. Yep … there's a can of extra petrol (gas) in the boot (trunk) all the time. The Beemer has a spare tyre as well. I wouldn't go anywhere at all without that spare. Why Matt doesn't seem to carry one or an ex-army jerry can of full of juice has me beat.

  7. Those blooms should look familiar to those who have seen Century Plants or many of the other varieties of Yuccas in bloom that grow in the southwest as they are in the same plant genus. I always enjoy seeing them in the desert. And, for the most part, unlike the infamous shin dagger yuccas I manage to see these before I walk into them! 🙂
