  1. Great show, John 🙂 Reckless is a great album – looking forward to the Keith Scott lesson.

Re. Behind the Sun, Clapton’s second solo on “Just Like A Prisoner” is absolutely stunning – Eric reckons it’s one of his best 🙂 I’d go so far as to say this live studio performance is the studio equivalent of his famous live stage performance of “Crossroads” – each having two great solos, with the second one being outstanding!

Your B-sides + bonus tracks feature is a great idea.

  2. Thinking of Australian guitarists – when Bryan Adams first toured the UK the support band was from Oz – Wendy & The Rocketts. The Rocketts were big Gary Moore fans and they played “You” from G-FORCE in the sound check (!) There’s a random connection for you 😉

Also, Sherbet’s “Howzat” might be a sugary pop song but has a tasty guitar solo – a lot of 70’s ‘pop’ acts had really good guitarists.

And currently, It’s the 5150 Show’s Brad Cook is an Aussie guitarist worth checking out 🙂

  3. A brand I had never heard of until I watched your video where you unboxed it the other day

Has a hell of a lot more quality to the sound than I expected from the woods it is built from etc … has a bit more girth to it than I thought

Breaks up really nicely by the sounds of it … in the future when anyone asks me that awkward question 'what's the best' guitar for a low price to start out on it is a brand I will certainly recommend they check out
