I've been watching these videos like crazy and they've been inspiring me to pick up some old ideas that have been bouncing around my head for a long time, but I was always too daunted to code and too focused on my career in botany to devote the time. Your creativity has influenced some of my favorite pieces of media ever, so thank you for semi-retiring to post these vids and inspire me to actually learn some coding languages and begin prototyping some of my ideas from years of being a game and world builder on pen and paper.
You aren't kidding about almond flour being a bit weird compared to regular flour. I made a babka for a coworker with almond flour and it did not turn out as I'd hoped. He swore he liked it but I don't know. I'd love to hear some more recipes from you too!
What would you think about helping out with one of the Wildstar fan revitalization projects? I'm sure they have nothing to pay you with so technecly it wouldn't be work! Nexus Forever is seeming pretty close to the launch version of the game but they are still having some trouble (mostly due to lack of documentation as far as I can see from the discord). Could you legally even help them? What do you think about fan project like that in general?
Hey Tim! Do you ever plan on discussing or sort of explaining any programming languages or general things to know about them? Really curious to get your thoughts on them.
I would like question about your thoughts on the modern fallout games (Fallout 3 and newer). Im very curious to see how your creation had evolved without you on the helm. Not looking for a review, just your thoughts and opinion as a game dev and the main guy in the Fallout 1 project. Love the content though and im happy just to watch you talk about your work 🙂
hello Tim, thankyou so much for your wonderful uploads and invaluable insights.
this is very random, but I went to a garbage dump thrift store, and spotted a cute galaxy orb and picked it up for like $1. i'm nearly positive it is the same as your rotating galaxy orb thingie on top of the shelf. i nearly shat myself seeing it there!!
could you please let me know what it actually is lol? thankyou
Tim, do you receive royalties for any of your games developed? Specially from those of the Interplay and Troika years. Also if you play a lot of games in your free time, I'm sure we would all love to see some sneaky streams (or Let's Play for us old YT users)
For me it's the grind. We overproduce, overconsume, and it's all super stressful. For no real reason. Why would I do this all the time? I can contribute to society and express myself artistically also without the constant grind.
I did some uni work on psychology and aging. I think it is a great move on your part to not necessarily see retirement as binary. Lots of people go from working 40h/week to 0h/week, and it's a catastrophic event. I'm glad that you don't feel you have to work full time to be part of the scene, and it's cool that you're still adding to the industry as long as it makes sense to you. ☀️
tldr making games professionally is a huge pain in the ass and tim has long since earned a break from the grind.
also congrats on going low carb/sugar! I've been trying monkfruit powder. its gotta suck to love baked goods 😅 I miss beer and crusty italian sesame bread the most.
I was sick as a kid. Really deathly sick and i was 7 and it was 1988, so it was a very oldschool childrens hospital and i was scared and sad. I made it through, in part, because i could push my i.v. to the atari at the front desk. Ill never forget that fun games change lives.
Hey Tim! Love your videos! I'd love to see a video on your thoughts about what makes a good producer/team of producers if you ever had the time. Hope you're doing well! 😃
Hi Tim, maybe you could spend some time on learning about diets, I am not sure going low-carb will benefit your health long-term. Wish you all the best!
Would love to know if the current holders of the fallout franchise were to redo 1 & 2 & asked you to be a part of it, would you?
Audio is very rough in this one

Hi Tim. If Microsoft decided they wanted a remake or remaster of Arcanum what role do you see yourself playing?

Not gonna lie I read the tittle as something completely different
Thank you for your service. 😀
damn, I read that title wrong.
Very interesting, thank you for sharing.
I like your outlook in retirement, don't necessarily do nothing but also be able to do things on your own terms and put health/happiness first.
Have you tried one of those modern Fallout clones? Like ATOM RPG or Encased? Sorry if it has already been asked.
For me it's the grind. We overproduce, overconsume, and it's all super stressful. For no real reason. Why would I do this all the time? I can contribute to society and express myself artistically also without the constant grind.
Tim, your videos are a treasure.

This mic is peaking quite badly
You should check the upcoming New Arc Line game, it's basically Arcanum 2

Can you release the low carb pumpkin muffin recipe?
Have you ever thought about doing a baking tutorial?
I hope you stay healthy, live to 200, and never lose the fun in (making or playing) games.
You are great Tim! 😊

distorted sound! impossible to listen
The internet deserves Tim to make EverQuest 3 and SpaceSation 13.2
❤
Would you ever do a collaboration with a fan?
Hey Tim! Can you talk about the outer worlds?
