The movie I'm recommending is an obscure on from 1995. The movie is called "Powder". I don't want to give anything away but I believe you both would love it.

We took my best friend out to the movies 2 days before her wedding just to give her some fun time and to decompress. SHE ENDED UP CRYING. We were like "it was a Jim Carey comedy! We didn't think there'd be crying!"
