  1. I think you should take into account of Gigantopithecus which cryptozoologists believe where the Bigfoot idea originated. Which lived in the Pleistocene period. I do love this video and the idea behind it. Definitely need a part two!

  2. When it comes to Bigfoot vs the short face bear, some Bigfoots can get 12 -15 ft tall . A 15 ft Bigfoot is definitely killing most bears in a 1v1. But even if the bear could win, it still wouldn't be safe, because like i said Bigfoot often hunt in groups up to 30 strong. No prehistoric predator is messing with a family of Bigfoots

  3. Considering the areas of big foot sightings and werewolf aightings bith may have the sMe origin besr or human ape like wildlife thst got infestet by paraties for it to become thin and desperate enough to go nesr human settlements and habe shaggy fur thst makes the reature unidentifyabke
U eaily csn mistake a hungered down besr or gorilla for a monster umif u are drunk and thd night is foggy so would hugered out parasite plagued besrs and gorillas survive in this time period probsply not

  5. Id actually put bigfoot higher on competition because there is some encounters that say that they could travel in groups so this would mean that if bigfoot were to encounter with the shortface bear won't be a 1v1 but a 2v1 a 3v1 or higher

  6. Before watching I'm predicting sasquatch does fine, they're very fast and extremely strong, also very large depending on the individual being up to 12 ft and one ton. Sasquatch are also seen in groups sometimes so that would help them out as well, and even when not in groups they're usually near eachother and will go to help one another plus have also been seen using tools and speaking. They're literally humans but bigger. Wendigo probably dies since it needs human flesh specifically and can't eat anything else, unless it can survive off the few humans there are. Mothman is fine cause he doesn't eat or anything, he just shows up whenever there's about to be a disaster as a sort of omen.

Edit: Rip, he got sasquatch underestimated.

  7. the wendigo changing to the deer like version through evolution is something i loved, and all the worlds that i've created in my head have either two to three species of wendigo, the normal one, the deer version, and a version that was reptilian that had claws that curled up to make a hoof like track with three points of contact

  8. to be Brutally honest, as strong as the wendigo is and its supernatural crazed ferocity and speed its gonna get folded by a shortfaced bear no matter what, taking out big cats like Smilodon and the American lion, just no, one bite of the American Lion can kill it, ive held a replica of an American Lion, the replica could detach its jaw and I rested my arm on the jaw.. and like any sane person I was curious to see how the skull would feel as I placed it on my arm.. no joke this replica American Lion skull coulda broke my arm if it slipped from my hand.. so a Wendigo would snap like a twig if the lion got a hold on it,

Don’t know what a wendigo is or understand where they come from here the explaination ( from my research!!!!!

The Wendigo comes from native Americans that committed cannibalism and when they died their souls are trapped in the wendigos body as they purge the thicket forests of deers, humans, rabbits anything they get their hands on as they are commonly knowed to be hiding in the shadows near wind, mills inside places where wheat is kept, abandoned barns, and over all across certain places in America and farm land in Canada but there is a difference between skin walkers which skin walkers normally found anywhere other than places with salt water from what I know salt literally burns their skins off this is what a skin walker is btw it’s a creatures that from my research it’s a demon / creature / animal that usually lurks in the forest at night at the start of its life but when it kills something it wears it skin to protect its body it can’t go near salt water bc the salt will burn its skin like acid if it touches the creatures real skin the nit skin it’s wears to hide its self. The wendigo has struggles and weaknesses as cutting its large horns that only grow sharper and longer as it ages can’t be cut off with out severe pain also another thing abt the wendigo is iin the dark it bc of how dark its its body almsot disappears tricking hunters into thinking that their horns are a deers horns and they will try to catch it for a meal while they are becoming its meal,. The wendigo tends to be on two feet but can swap it it really wants too, but the skin walker can crawl on if needed but it’s mostly found on two legs like unlike the wendigo the skin walker the skin walker has shorter arms which mean it’s going to be harder to walk on all fours but the wendigo on the other hand the hand could move in ways that remind me of the indo raptor when it swaps from 2 legs to 4 it’s known that both skin walkers and wendigos can mimic human noises but they can also hear and sense movement very well as too which most old wendigos are blind and skin walkers don’t have the best eyes sight only being able to see colors and blurry figments of things.

  10. 10:39 I desperately wanted to be that guy to say the wendigo has hard horns and a thicker build so if it was night time a wendigo could be in the few odd trees in the plains wait for them to lay down to rest or sleep then ambush and try to stab them with their horns and again the wendigo has really long limbs paired with hooked claws that are said to be serrated like a damn knife …… Wendigo is so cool i swear

  11. Also with the competition abt the grizzly it’s the thing there are so many wendigo types ones with large horns thick body kill groups of people 9-13 but thinner ones no horns can barley kill 5-6 it’s rlly just how are they built

  12. I’m curios how the likes of the Dogman would handle the Pleistocene, given how they’re described as “allegedly” possessing human level intelligence, immense strength, speed, and stamina… and above all else, pack hunting.

  13. Bruh, Wendigo ISN'T even a cryptid. It's a spirit.

Cryptids are animals that science has not recognized, Wendigo DOESN'T fall in that category at all.
Of all people, YOU should know this.

Even cryptozoologists will tell you that Wendigos aren't classified as cryptids. If it's supernatural, then no, it ISN'T a cryptid. This would also mean that Skinwalkers aren't cryptids because they are supernatural.

Also, there's no way of winning in a fight against a Wendigo. The ACTUAL stories state that if you set your eyes on a Wendigo, you lose your sanity.
You can not kill the Wendigo, once again, it's a spirit. You can only TEMPORARILY stop it, but it's still going to find another person to infect.
The weakness of a Wendigo is silver and fire since its heart is pure ice. So no, a short-faced bear doesn't remotely stand a chance against a Wendigo.
The Wendigo is an AFLICTION rather than a creature.

Bigfoot is a cryptid, it's described as an unknown type of primate.
Mothman? I don't know, some say it's supernatural, which would make it not a cryptid.
