#82 – Thoughts Matter

How we think and how we speak matter more than you may realize. Treat both with extreme care.

  1. Hey Mr Dave!
Great chat. I'm totally with you on thinking and speaking positive thoughts. I routinely call that out when I hear friends or family speaking poorly of themselves. It drives me nuts!.
The way you talked about the premium burley, reminds me a lot of one I tried the other day. A good friend of mine bought some 4th generation- 1931 flake, and was talking about how great it was, so I tried a flake. I'm not normally a burley guy ( virginia perique blends are my go to/favorite ), but man he was right, I really enjoyed it!. You might want to pick up a tin to try next time you're ordering tobacco.
    Have a great week!

  2. I made a comment in my scripture Sunday my wife and I didn’t always keep our heads up through the hard times we went through but the lord held us up in the rough parts. I apologize if I came off wrong in video, but even so I really do appreciate you addressing the issue because I know a lot of people that struggle with this. I used to myself until a mentor of mine told me exactly what you just said here. I’ve been highlighting in my videos all of the positives that are coming and our year goals are already being met and it’s so early in the year.

  3. Hey Dave,
Love the fire! Thank you on your thoughts on words. They hit home because it helps me to think about a lot that I’m dealing with now and basically you’re doing a SpringBoard from North Georgia Piper.

  4. 💯! Everything I have I got because deep down I knew I would. I am far from where I started. Grew up in a church parsonage. My dad a poor Baptist preacher. Could not go to college, couldn’t afford it. Worked hard, anything I wanted, I believed I would have someday. It paid off 100 fold. Think it, believe it, say it, work toward it, have it.

  5. What a great video! If there's anything that can help someone else out it's this sort of thing right here. We are who we say we are. There is a perverse way to take that though, I've heard very well to do people say, "fake it till you make it" and those mindsets I don't care for, but I do understand the advantages of manipulating ones destiny in that way. It seems to me that the demonic realm doesn't know what's going on in our mind until it comes out of our mouth, were God knows things we want before we ask. So our destruction can happen through our lips, as jesus' did, but His father would not let evil automately win over His plan. 😊😊😊

  6. It’s positive mental attitude Dave, there has been many things in life that I’ve never wanted to do but I’ve had to do them even if I had that feeling I was going to fail but one thing my Father always said was we all have to do things that we don’t want to do but just say to yourself this time tomorrow it’ll all be over. And I carried this through life even when I served in the military and going out on active service for another six months and I would have to do things some people couldn’t imagine but this time tomorrow it will be over and I can move on. I hope this makes sense.
Great video Dave, it looks a wonderful place where you are.

  7. Love your vids, Dave. I watch them at 1.25 speed with the CC on, so I read your words as spoken, and WORDS & THOUGHTS matter. For me, 2024 is going to be a great year. For some that think it will be 💩, it probably will. Thank You. Love the post office.

  8. Thoughts do indeed matter Dave, it’s very similar to the saying, you are what you eat.
The same applies, you become what you think, it’s amazing how easy it is to talk yourself into thinking you’re a nobody.
The side effects of this can be mind blowing.
However if you rise up, tell yourself, I can do this, I can do that, anything is possible if I put my mind to it, that is a positive attitude & positivity breeds positivity.
IMO we should write down our goals in life & as we achieve them put a mark next to it, as time goes by you’ll see how much you have acheived, you will actually see, Damn I am good.
    Great video Dave, important too.
    🤝👊👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
