If you are trapped in your car as the person in the flood was, then remove the head rest and use the metal spikes to smash the window. That's what they're there for.
Also never rely on anyone else to rescue you. You're your own rescuer.

The one where the guy was hallucinating the children and turned out to have a brain tumor sounds exactly like when my grandma first started showing signs of dementia. She constantly saw people in her house. Sometimes they were family members and sometimes strangers. They would never talk

Story 4. Yeah, there are stories about 911 operators hanging up on panicked victims. That part is believable.
Never tried it because I have never been trapped in a flooding car. However I have heard that if you use your removable headrest by taking it all the way out you can smash the window with the metal parts. Just a thought that may work to save someone's life.
I’m sorry but story 4 is a little unbelievable. As in me not entirely being sold on it being true due to the 911 operator.
BUT if it is. This person is so lucky that FOR ONCE the justice system actually worked in their favor and did something. And they’re complaining how it’s not enough.
I feel like there’s misplaced anger. OP sounds angry at the fact that she couldn’t get help fast enough. But this man is locked behind 4 walls. Is no longer a danger to others or OP personally.
What’s left is ur trauma and ptsd which is valid. But to lie and say there’s no Justice simply bc ur plagued by ur own post traumatic stress does not help you. Will not help you find peace or even ur own version of Justice.
This man can no longer harm anyone. What more do you want to be done? Death penalty? Will that please you? Is that what it takes.

I implore you to get therapy. There’s different types, talk therapy isn’t the only kind. Find a therapist that works for you bc that’s where you find ur Justice.
