  1. I didn't know anything about Jaclyn and the Koze name drama. That sh*t is not cool and I agree that there is no way with all the research they said they did, this did not came in to their radar. It's like she does whatever she wants and cares for others when it suits her and doesn't collide with her wants.

  2. I love Bobbi Brown, their Face Base primer is the best and the bronzers are the best on the market. I will keep buying from the brand.

I have never, ever supported Jacklyn and will not start any time soon. No, just no.

I do miss the old Stila shadows with the metal palettes that you filled with singles, like circa 2000. That was amazing eye shadow!

  3. Back when I was in high school I would buy from NARS all the time at their boutique in NYC. My mom was apart of the industry so I got 30-40% off almost all their products. I was heartbroken back in 2017 or 2018 when they started to test on animals. I had to quit purchasing from them.

  4. I agree about Bobbi Brown. They are not exciting but I do like the quality. Jones Road’s quality is very questionable, the only 2 things I enjoyed from her – shadows and mascara, everything else was just meh.

  5. Honesty is always welcome 🙏
I've never been a fan of most of these brands. I used to love Bobbi Brown foundations. I found Armani foundation a couple of years ago and now it's my HG. I noticed Jaclyn had a crazy good sale recently so I picked up several products. I had no idea who she was, or what she was about. Will not be repurchasing.

  6. Stila has never really thrilled me. I remember the first hype product they came out with in the 90s was their felt tip lip stain pens, and those were a total disappointment.

I still love Nars eye shadow powders and bronzer. I feel like Nars is magic with powder-based products, and their cream products like the lipsticks are touch and go. Some of the lipstick colors are great, like Shanghai Express, but everything seems to go on dry and matte, which makes the pale shades like Roman Holiday lay unevenly.
I'd been using their loose powder in Eden since 1998 …. it was just THE perfect shade for me. Last year now they changed up the packaging (and discontinued "Eden"), and I was devastated (in a make up way.). They got rid of the nice net screen that you can run a fluffy brush across, and now have a plastic shaker sieve — which is tons less neat and elegant to apply. I just switched up to Huda loose powder, which has the screen and is really nice. Very fine, pretty texture.

  7. I liked Jaclyn and watched every video, before the whole lip gloss sh$tshow. Now I can’t stand the way she acts. I guess she’s always been obviously about the money, but it’s become unbearable. It’s incredibly sad for her to steal someone’s else’s name and I will never buy anything from her.

  8. I have to agree about UD, except for the 24/7 liners which I still buy sometimes, I haven't been excited about their launches in a long time. Their tagline used to be "Beauty with an Edge" so you'd think there would actually be something edgy about their products or color stories. They used to be a brand about bold and unique colors that couldn't really be found elsewhere and then they came out with the Naked line. The Naked line really launched them into mainstream popularity, which was cool at the time. Since then, it's like they got stuck on the Naked train and never got off of it. I miss the bold colors they used to do and wish they'd come out with some more palettes like they did back in the day with the Book of Shadows and other similar palettes. The recent releases, meaning in the last few years, have been really blah and not unique.

  9. Stila Eyeliner is the best! ( for me at least) I have really watery eyes and it never smudges for me and it last forever. I really hope they don’t discontinue it.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

  10. BB Face Base is a non negotiable in my life! I appreciate NARS for their longevity and not getting rid of their staples. Sometimes “boring” is good. Their foundations, powder, bronzers, & blushes can’t be beat and I appreciate that they have been there for years.

  11. Laura lee rebranded recently… complete transparency upon finding out the info, made a video which I thought was professional. Guess JH is too ego driven to address and have ownership in stealing someone else's name.
