  1. You guys HAVE to react to Demon Slayer or Chainsaw Man.

You reacted to Attack on Titan before, and Demon Slayer is a level above AOT, and set the bar for new anime. Chainsaw Man is the result of this bar being higher.

  2. You guys should look at the animated bits of the new guardians of the galaxy Christmas special. From the looks of it, it uses some odd techniques. Would be very interesting to see behind the scenes

  3. I miss different styled animation. Like X-Men the animated series. Thundercats. Captain Planet. He-man master's of the universe. Courage the cowardly dog. James and the giant peach. Celebrity death match. Magic school bus. Dexter's laboratory. Etc. Etc. I miss the era of, example: Secret of the NIMH, my brave little toaster, sword in the stone, black cauldron.

  4. I would recommend taking a look at “Afternoon Class” and (OO) by Osro for how it seamlessly changes in between metaphors to describe one single experience.

Also, If you ever consider talking about stop motion I would highly recommend checking out “Pinchcliffe Grand prix” by Caprino. It’s a feature stop motion film that was way ahead of it’s time, especially the race sequence during the last act of the film. It became incredibly popular among those who watched it, running in cinemas in Japan for almost 30 years.

  5. The discussion brought out from Bratz was amazing. Humble and honest. So insightful and largely overlooked aspects to smaller projects. Really appreciate and love the positive outlook while also finding moments to laugh in innocent humor. Not targeted and not malicious. Just fun entirely from start to end.

  6. OMG! Thank you, guys!
The bit about line weight (from 13:2914:27 ) is what I needed to learn, and I didn't know I needed it!

[The short story, in case you are interested is]
I'm an visual artist storyteller striving to create a new wave visual-novel-like stories, called "cuentos", in my homecountry of Peru. The idea, in simple words, is that I'm sort of a mangaka, but I'm more of a writer/director than cartoonist, but I0m learning new tricks to improve my drawing using digital tools. The explanations from PAtrick have enlighten me with a new perspective about, well, drawing perspectives. So thaks for that.
[In case you actually read this. Thank you. Someday you will be able to read CAPUCHA — the greatest cuento in the world. Until then, bye~ 🐺✨]
Thanks again Corridor, been here since the old days of 2011. You really are that cool friend that teaches me great new stuff everytime!

  7. The Mob Psycho 100 Ending Sequences have always stood out as they have been animated with paint on glass. It creates a very interesting visual style and as far as I'm aware they have been animated by a single person. They are gorgeous as well, so looking at that would be nice.

  8. I recall seeing a video about Borderlands 3 (video game) where Gearbox developed software to draw the edge lines for the cell-shaded graphics. Funny to think that is being done 60 times a second in real-time.

  9. I remember hearing about an unreleased Dreamworks movie about a guy and his shadow. It was supposed to be a huge technological and artistic feat for Dreamworks, but i cant remember why it got cancelled. Theres some lost footage and reference images online. Might be worth taking a look at.
