#629 Everyone Wants to Live Here: Exploring the Fabulous Homes and History of Red Rock Canyon

Welcome to Wonderhussy Adventure #629
Date of adventure: 4/28/22

Red Rock Canyon is one of the most beautiful areas in the entire southwestern United States — a dramatic slice of the old west, right outside Las Vegas! A few lucky elites are building luxury homes out there now…but back in the day, there were some very colorful characters who called Red Rock Canyon home.

  1. I loved hiking in Red Rock! But what's with all the green lawns? Astroturf or is there an underground aquifer? Even so, the desert communities should have been conserving water 30+ years ago!

  2. I enjoy watching some of these channels of women on their adventures. Good to see that. I stood up in my seat when she slid in the comment about being a nude model. Whatever her name is she has a natural talent for talking to the audience and a knowledge of history. Learned something new about Howard Hughes and Liz Taylor also. Good video.. plus I'm a sucker for a pretty-eyed girl in a hat.

  3. As a former resident of Las Vegas I agree with limited development around Red Rock. Vegas is full of cookie cutter houses and the houses around Red Rock should be suitable to the environment. I’m sad about Bonnie Springs. I may have gone there in the 80’s but I don’t remember anything about it. It reminds me of the Old Vegas attraction that used to be on Boulder Highway.

  7. Sorry I missed your nude photo shoots when I was bouldering in Calico Basin. It would have been a heck of a surprise to walk around to the back side of a boulder and ooops….. I 100% agree Red Rock Canyon area is the best thing about Las Vegas hands down. Boulder City runs a close second.

  8. Great video. I used to hike in Red Rock back in the late '80s and early 90s. I once follow and old jeep trail over the top down to a summer camp area off the road to Pahrump. Loved the beauty of the area.
It is hard for me to believe now, but on Sundays I would ride my ten speed from the east side of Tropicana up to Rainbow and turn west on I believe Charleston to Red Rock Canyon. Heading home was easy because it was all down hill!
Thank you so much for those memories, oh to be 30 again and in that shape to ride uphill all that way!

  9. Friedrich Krupp (Friedrich Krupp Von Bohlen Und Halbach) and his father Gustav Krupp were the entire German war machine. They were the military-industrial complex of Europe. Portland, Oregon author Fritz Springmeier wrote a book called the Bloodlines of the Illuminati where he named the Krupps as the 13th bloodline of the Illuminati (the Merovingians or Bavarian Illuminati). They control the other 12 bloodlines. During WW2, the Krupps broke into Barbarossa Cave and retrieved the Ark of the Covenant. That is the backstory of Raiders of the Lost Ark (of the Covenant). Operation Barbarossa was when Germany invaded Russia. According to Wiki, it was the biggest invasion force of all-time. That's because they used the Ark of the Covenant to wage war, as Moses and others did.

You'll notice the round part of the Krupp house. The Knights Templar have historically built round buildings because of the Knights of the Roundtable. It's like a gang symbol. Knights Templar churches are usually round.

The Krupp direct father-son ancestry goes back to Barbarossa (Red Beard), who lived in Castle Krupa about 830 years ago. Barbarossa was the head of the Knights Templar, the emperor of Germany, and the emperor of Rome. Barbarossa had the Ark of the Covenant, too. The bloodline goes back to King Arthur who ruled over the 12 Knights of the Roundtable, and further back in time to Moses in the Old Testament.

In Germany, Krupp is pronounced 'Crow'. It is a reference to the crows of Odin. The Krupps trace their bloodline back to Odin. Watch German ThyssenKrupp videos on YouTube, and you will hear it pronounced 'Crow' in a heavy Dutch accent.

For well over 100 years, the Krupps have been the biggest farmers in the Wild, Wild West. They usually spell their name 'Kropf' in the USA. Their closest relatives own most of the other farmland. Historically, almost all of the farmland in the USA has been owned by German royalty.

  10. Native Americans used to live in Red Rock Canyon, before anyone! There were hieroglyphics and there's even a natural cathedral or amphitheater. "Hidden Falls" are waterfalls that are only there a few months a year, if at all anymore. I have some pictures of the remaining hieroglyphs. Rock climbers destroyed them! Now, they're a casino and houses up there? Ii haven't been there since 1995, but, Red Rock Canyon is very special to Me. I could feel something Spiritual there. There were hand prints of a whole family. Caves where they lived and everything. It's one of My favorite places on Earth too. Thank You for the modern history lesson.

  11. Good. No casino! They have been arguing that for Years! Red Rock Canyon is So Historical! Glad to see they are preserving what's left of it. Rock climbers ruined a lot of the Native American art there. It was so Sad, last time I was there, when I saw the damage they were doing.

  12. Hi, love your videos. I actually have a photograph with Bonnie. I spend like 40 minutes talking to her at the bar. One time she came in. She was a great Lady. I wish I could post it for you in the comments.
