  1. 9:10 See the little Island behind you, It's the most fishiest place I know, packed with Trout and Spanish, We speared a 30kg Spanish there once, towed us around for 20 mins. You should have went there for fish and dive.

  3. You got that right. Squid ink among people in Java is considered additional recipe. In fact there is a dish named Cumi (squid) Hitam (black). Yes, you are right. The squid is cooked with its ink. Yummmm……piece of onion, garlic, ginger, a bit coconut milk, chilli, add some water. Cook it in medium heat until the water is almost gone, pinch of salt. Simmer. Then enjoy with rice.

  4. Embrace the black squid ink my brothers and sisters. It is one of the latest breakthroughs as a natural "cure" against cancer. It protects against ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, so, it's a great supplement for chemo treatment. It was tested on mice that were exposed to deadly amounts of radiation, and they didn't die. Also has been found to reverse Parkinson's, shrinks tumors and repair cells.

  5. The clear strip in the squid is the cuttlebone!
The more mature squid have a much larger, thicker & are white.
Found in pet shops for use by cage birds. Particularly budgies, parakeets & parrots.
Both a nutritional calcium supplement, & also helps keep their beaks trimmed in a natural way.

  6. The old Keens Curry in some flour with a pinch of salt always makes a tasty dry batter for fresh squid. Offset with some finely chopped raw cabbage sprinkled with soya source and then washed down with cold beer.

  8. You do realise that there's a much cleaner, quicker and easier way to clean squid?

You run both pointer and middle fingers down the tube behind the head, breaking the membrane between the quill and tube.

Then pull the head and ink sack out, whilst holding the tube with your other hand.

Then it's just a matter of cleaning the outer skin off, separating the wings from the tube, then turning the tube inside out to clean out the remainder of guts etc.

  9. LOL Az, I recon you have upgraded the crew mate to people who can catch fish, squid, and all things food!. I can see Strickers is on the selection committee calling the shots.😉😉🤔🤔 Best to let the other two know the are playing back in the Rezzies till they get some form back 👀😲😁. Nikki and Kelly have the Guernsey now! My next most favorite part of this video is Az Rocking the Serong at 11:10, Az that is getting back to Basics, that is like you calling Strickers out saying I can do shipwrecked twice as well as you mate! I am still laughing looking at the champers and the hillbilly moonshine bottle you are drinking out of! 😉Cheers for sharing the fun, looking forward to the next videos! Great cook up BTW, Stay safe, Eat Well! 💖👊👌🦘🤿🐟
