Hello Katie and Scott, what a beautiful scenery in your little island that you live on. I so liked watching this episode. I thought it was adorable when your 2 little sheep came down. from the top of the little hill where your house is to see the tree that you brought them to eat. Thank you for this episode and looking forward to seeing the next one.
Nice sea trout, the tastiest fish to eat.
That was another cracking episode, thanks. Glad the Internet returned. ๐
I bet you miss just nipping out for a chipper supper in this weather, I donโt have one often, but in the winter I really do enjoy the odd one. Beautiful scenery with the snow, & your roaring fire looks so inviting! Very many thanks for sharing, with lots of love, From another chilly – 4 here in Aberdeenshire ๐คx
With each episode, there is growing justification that you two have made the right choice to move to the island! I learned something today Foxes can swim…I had to google the question! The reaction from your sheep as they watched their food source being 'delivered' was priceless. Fish, where is Robson Green when you need him? Have you considered making room for fishing as a food source for the both of you? Which vegetables are you considering to put to seed soon? Our small community garden area is helping us to grow garlic for the first time, as a trial for other winter plant growth experiments/considerations. They are not doing to badly. Please believe me when I say, you both look more and more happy with your chosen lifestyle. We know you still have a lot to do, but your contentment and inner peace is obvious. Well done for bracing you first winter. I hope you will stay on the island and continue to live as you please.

That map really is superb. You almost expect it to say "Here be dragons" somewhere.
Do you ever take the quads across the old ford? It would be nice to see some footage of that.
When the slightly fish-eyed camera came eye to eye (so to speak) with that jumping fish, it could have been tempted to say "Here's looking at you, kid."
Thank you for taking your time to film your Quad Trip, it was so lovely in the snow! I know it takes quite some time to make that happen!
How sweet are those sheep eating the cedar. My little dwarf goats love pine and cedar as well. It's a good prevention against worms.
You're right about the camera not doing the scenery justice. I've seen some beautiful sunrises, but when I take a picture it doesn't seem to catch what I see with the naked eye. If this is the case with your filming it must surely be spectacular. Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning. I saw some pink in those morning clouds the day it snowed.
Think it's either a sea trout or salmon… i don't think its a mackerel to be honest.
"…When Birnham wood shall come to Dunsinane…" (10:55 mark) Shakespeare would be proud.
Over here, our weather was quite similar this last week; ice storm coating everything, breaking limbs from trees and bringing everything to a standstill.
Enjoying the content.
Cheers from a thawing and soggy Willamette Valley

I love your style of dresses, where do you find them?
What are these โfencesโ made of wood and frosted glass? A bed border?
๐๐๐ my husband and i had the conversation re fish and chips v fish supper, im English from Nottinghamshire and hubby is Scottish โค living in Scotland x
You guys are crazy… but it's so much fun. ๐
Thank you both for sharing you lovely place๐โ๏ธ๐๐จ๐ฆ
We dodged the snow down here in Surrey but you have the better scenery!
Nice. Am over in Scotland in your neck of the woods (at the fishing port to the north) and place I went to today had 9 inches of snow lying and more falling all the time. Was like walking in a winter wonderland and I guess must be similar down at yours.
PS could the โdogโ prints have been an otter? Too far from the sea?
The quiet there seems to breathe on its own. โฅ
Thank you.
Very peaceful and relaxing, loved watching it.
Hi, for people like me who are dreamers and would love to do something similar, it would be super interesting to hear how you found the island, how much you paid for it, how you made the move/ made it work with work, etc. If youโve ever shared how you came by it, please could you direct me to that video? Iโve found it a bit difficult to understand what is being discussed in what video.
The fireplace crackling after a walk in the cold, very peaceful.
Thankyou again for quality video and content. I have became a patron member to support you. It is very affordable . I encourage others who can afford to do so. I love the special shorts and early access to podcasts. May your channel grow. In this time your channel provides escape to a gentle kind part of the world. Your care of all living things around you is beautiful to be a part of.
