When Des'ree – "i'm Kissing you" started my team Conrad Heart flipped and intraveled back to Romeo + Juliet and tears filled my eyes….
I love this whole scene because this is the only moment that we know of Belly and Conrad's relationship from the books in their 6 month relationship however I'm sceptical about her losing her virginity here because this changes the dynamics of book 3. Many issues arises in her and Jermiah's relationship, the biggest thing we learned is that even though they were in relationship for a long time but they never slept together. Belly was always a virgin throughout the book.

I'm 35yo but I can't stop watching this show. When I was 23yo I was in Belly's position. But I lost my Conrad because of pride.
I keep watching these scenes to remind myself of those precious moments, almost 15 years later.

I’m team jere only because i think he deserved better as a character. i understand that belly and conrad are the “better ship” it’s just i wish that belly hadn’t messed around with jere if she knew deep down she would always pick conrad. also didn’t like that the author made jere cheat it felt like it was out of no where

Honestly this scene was done so beautifully. The music, the flashback, the narration, the build up…like everything simply perfect.
I loved the flashbacks to real time and walking through the house and remembering it. It was really sweet and heartbreaking at the same time, his hesitation but angst with the song was perfection. The interweaving of the past and present have been done super well and the way they brought the name of book two into the season with Laurel. It is perfect. I have having to wait a week for each episode but it has been great so far.
After this scene the only thing I kept thinking was "I need her bra!! Too cute" 😂❤
I will come back here every day to see this masterpiece
this scene is so top tier, they just have the most insane chemistry. it's just the right amount of nervousness, longing, and angst, something that really belly and jeremiah just don't have. i really just see belly/jeremiah as best friends, and conrad being her true soul mate

Conrad needs time I think, he has so much going on and thats clear from the panic attack, hope steven helps him and they have a good talk! Celly for the win! They are endgame! Is Celly better then Bonrad? I dont hate either. So glad were getting more steven scenes then in the book. Felt so bad for him when he was left out of like everything! Ep 4, CANT WAIT!
