4 MARATHONS IN 4 DAYS FOR CHARITY | TRIBE RFL4 | Part 1

HUGE thanks to my sponsors and huge supporters ZenB, whose Pasta Agile meant that I was possibly the best fuelled athlete to have done an ultramarathon EVER. I’d thoroughly recommend checking them out for a high protein meal at home and/or any time you do a multi stage event.

11 days ago I came back from the toughest challenge of my life – taking on the first 170km of Run For Love 4, an event designed not only to test everyone who took part, but also to raise money for the Tribe Freedom Foundation. So far we’ve raised almost £150,000 for the charity!

  1. my god Flora, this made me super tired just watching you! I don't even know how you were managing to follow those trails most of the time, i'd have been super super lost!! Huge well done, great achievement and you've made some new friends too! 🙂 x

  2. Poo er, what a really scary cliff hanger to leave us on. Appropriate enough given the elevation gain of your first two runs. Will certainly tune in again for the next breathtaking episode of Flora of the mountains!

  3. Just finished the Day 1 section – what absolutely stunning scenery! Watching your videos always gives me extra motivation for my own, but it really comes across how special this event was for you. Now to get my own run done – sadly Hull has neither the hills nor the beauty of Croatia 😂

  5. Well this is easily my favourite video of yours you have ever done Flora. Gives a great insight into the ups and downs of trail running. Nice work bring on the second part. 👍

  6. Stunning video! I had a quick look at the cattle/bears/lynx/wolves thing and apparently there were 22 deaths by cattle in the UK between 2015-16 and 2019-20. 0 deaths by brown bears in Croatia between 2000-2015. I can't find any data on lynx or wolves, but I've always been told that wolves only go for livestock and lynx are super shy so I suppose that tracks?

  7. Thank you! This spurred me to do a proper trailrun with 370 meters of elevation in 45 minutes, rather than the usual tarmac round with maybe 70 meters. Uncomfortable in the right way and my knee also felt much better.

  8. @flora beverley – have you tried Nomad Nutrition for meals? Looking for a brand that's closer to home with several vegan offerings (although I eat fish sporadically). Thanks!

  9. So in awe of this video. Thank you for bringing this gorgeous trail and sightseeing to us. Also, suffice to say that ZenB is one of the most extremely delicious better than pasta and almost twice the protein. Can’t pro it enough. I give it to my teenage so who loves it, we all do. Believe me it’s the wow factor and game changer for pasta. It’s the equivalent and better. So satiating, if only there was an equal substitute or better for bread! But ZenB is so good and better than pasta that you won’t miss the pasta made with grains.
