  1. It's a tribute to her strength and conditioning that she was still able to run will all those choking loops of fishing line! Thank you so much for rescuing her from our pollution/thoughtless dumping, Team OCN!!

  2. You define someone's character by their attitude towards children and animals, we know who the good guys are here, I liked the roll out of the net technique of the other seal😊

  4. What about approaching this problem from the other side? Put tracking devices on these animals, find out where most of them are getting snagged, go to those areas and remove the debris if possible that's causing it or cover it up with sand, etc.

  5. It’s such a blessing what you are doing, but I can’t help to wonder if the problem is related to ignorance or incompetence around the areas you are working?
Or do you claim that this floats there from all over the world??

  6. Thank you OCN and those that are like minded! It's absolutely DEVASTATING to see the HARM, if not DEATH that we HUMANS INFLICT on these sensitive, intelligent, majestic animals — on a DAILY BASIS! We must do better!

What I appreciate most is that the OCN team (seen and unseen) is all about action! Too many of us essentially are complicit with our silence and lack of action! We made this wretched mess — now it's up to us to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for all of this DEVASTATION.

Our actions (and/or lack of actions) DEMANDS that we CLEAN UP our destruction of this planet. We must also do all that we can to mitigate the exposure, the injuries, and the trauma that we inflict on the earth and her inhabitants. It may already be too late so time IS of the ESSENCE!
