  1. Cash puts me in a weird headspace, I just feel like it’s really irritating to carry physical money around. However, it has saved me in the past, twice. Also, are you growing the hair out Nick?

  3. I usually follow the rule of thumb, “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.” I need to have a good reason rather than just a design change. I also look at the quality and willing to spend more for it to last longer. Waiting as long as possible will give enough time to think about the replacement item. If that item isn’t in your thoughts for a length of time, then you don’t need it.

  4. Nicholas, as always enjoyed your video. I read "Your Money or Your Life" by J.Dominguez & V. Robin a few decades ago and it changed my financial trajectory. Trading time/living energy for any item is an eye opener, certainly. Living Debt free and spending purposefully is what brings me financial peace of mind. Hope all is well in your world, Daisy and I are going to the dog park. Don't tell JW where we are.

  5. One of the easiest methods to clean a water bottle is warm water and a denture tablet. They’re very inexpensive and dropping a tablet in once a week before a normal wash will restore your bottle to like new. And no odors left behind!

  6. I’m pretty far from a minimalist myself. I like physical things a bit too much. I’ve been spending way too much money on stuff I don’t really need, so finding your channel has been very helpful to bring some balance to that and help focusing on more important aspects of life. Thanks 🙏

  7. Love the video Nicholas ! Always interesting and interesting! I just bought a new recycled water bottle I needed one as I’m starting a new job next month ! I was laid off my part time job in march due to a store closing! So I will be applying what I learned from you today ! Thank you for sharing ! I hope you had a wonderful time in Switzerland 🇨🇭! Take care young man ! Much love ❤️ from Canada 🇨🇦

  8. Great insight. Putting a time value on the money you spend does put things into perspective. As a guitar player, I often am afflicted with GAS (gear acquisition syndrome), when in reality I should focus on becoming a better player with what I already have. This strategy will help me regain focus when the GAS hits 🙂

  9. I did that recently. I was tempted to get a new gaming pc but i stopped and asked myself is this worth a week of your life? Ultimately the answer was no so i didn't buy one.

  10. It´s been lovely to watch your channel develop, Nick!

I also like your older videos but in your later one you are much more confident.

Also Switzerland seems to have a lasting effect on you, judging from the sparkle of your eyes. 🤩

  11. Really like your watch mate, can’t beat an analogue.
Could give that bottle a good boil wash mate and let it dry natural.
Or just get a new one and give it a boil wash every week to 2 weeks.
Great video again man with great tips as ever. And good to see Paul keeping your money safe. Good name for him 😂
