  1. That is the most beautiful ship I think I've ever seen in any starfleet design… it looks sleek and dengerous… if makes me think of it being just as comfortable in the sea as in space. This is, to me, the ultimate "fleet" vessel.

  2. A pure battleship needs to have 3 separate warp cores One each for powering the warp drive, one for shields and one for weapons. power conduits need to be stout enough to handle the entire power output of a warp core plus a margin for overloads and a hit on a weapon or shield emitter would only affect that individual unit instead of taking out an entire system.
Warp nacelles also need to have physical shielding that can be deployed during battle to prevent being damaged to the point where escape or pursuit is impossible. Ok what did I miss?

  3. Something gets me about Emergency Holographic Crew… If the stations are linked into the ship's computer system, and the holograms are controlled by the same computer. Why not just have the computer automate the station directly?

  4. The Romulans literally shot themselves in the chest out of their fear of synths. The intransigent paranoia of some and the secretive nature of Romulans in general resulted in sabotage of the synths and the death of the greater portion of the citizenry of the Romulan Star Empire because of the loss of vessels that sabotage resulted in. It's a lesson in the dangers of extremist theologies.

  5. Please examine the changes to terrestrial warfare! StarTrek is based on a destroyer, aircraft carrier way of approaching warfare. That is becoming obsolete! There may be no noble and brilliant Captains supported by brave and loyal crew members! Instead, little planet killers with no emotional capability will simply be deployed against an enemy! I don't mean they will kill a planet, but they will attack with absolute accuracy, make their own decisions, maybe invoke artificial emotions ( I hate the enemy), to carry out their missions with no fear, no hesitation and no mistakes! Just no entertainment value!

  6. I like your material. I would add, for your consideration, A "Capitol [Ship' of the Line] doesn't "Show Her Age" inside of 20 years.

Everyone knows that any tech in the field is already outdated by the time it is being used. Upgrades are ALWAYS happening. The USAF us still flying the B-52.
