  1. There's a Danish astrophysicist and Youtuber, 'About Oliver' who streams blind Minecraft. He did indeed discover stripping logs and many other minor features entierly by mistake while trying to figure out something else. He generally learns the secrets of the game by ether investigating what's on the advancements tab or trying out all new recipies. At the point where I'm watching he means to follow an eye of ender to.. something, and is quite flabbergasted by the mysteries of the fletching table.

  2. I did some testing on Java Edition, and found that Wolves with wolf armour can survive a creeper explosion on Hard difficulty, while in the same block as them. I'm guessing there's a difference in how creeper damage is calculated between Java and Bedrock, because I've seen Bedrock videos where the wolves die in one creeper blast.
