  1. ❤ goes out to young man helping you today… He has the best mentor around, Sven… Boat wow, loving everything you are doing… Generations afterwards will have their mentors to watch, read and adapt to learning… Well earned in many eyes…

  2. That thing is looking more serious every day….. do not be surprised if the government Navy calls you with an assignment one day (if they have not yet) 🙂

  3. Sven, you are causing me great problems sir! Now when I go paddling in my kayak I am very distracted by the sailboats! I am analysing the masts and the sail types and keels and construction methods and materials. It makes it difficult to concentrate on my paddling. I also find myself thinking of building my own boat and imagining the journeys I might take. This is all your fault!

  4. If i remember right, the inside has a layer of 600 gram carbon fiber. Does anyone know the US equivalent to that??
    600gram is 21oz, and i can only find 9.5oz and 10.9oz CF.

I am going to build a 5.50m sailboat with 31mm thick H80. What would be a good carbon fiber for the inside of that?
