‘A Hard Meal to Swallow’
We consider the two remaining blessings and woes pronounced by Jesus in His most famous sermons (those who hunger/ those who are rejected). He especially lifts the lid on the certainty of persecution that will be the lot of all who identify with Him. His words are hard to swallow, but as always, they are the words of eternal life.
