2024-03-08 Kabbalat Shabbat

Welcome to the Kabbalat Shabbat Service at Temple Sinai in Reno, Nevada. Whether you join us in person or through our livestream, we are delighted to have you with us. Temple Sinai is Reno’s Reform Jewish congregation, affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism. We are also affiliated with NiCE, the Nevada Interfaith Coalition for Equality and Inclusion, an organization that works towards full LGBTQ inclusion at places of worship in Northern Nevada.

Thank you to Rose Petersky (Board member) for graciously welcoming everyone this week. Thanks also to Tova McGilvray for running a seamless livestream, and a special shoutout to Laura Smith and Aaron Hill for sponsoring this week’s Oneg Shabbat in honor of Aaron receiving tenure at UNR. Todah rabbah to all of you!

We use the Reform siddur “Mishkan T’filah” as our prayerbook. If you don’t have a copy, you can download our Custom Virtual Siddur for free at http://sinaireno.org/live to follow along with us during the service.

Join us on Zoom for a virtual Oneg time with live video after service. Visit http://SinaiReno.org/LIVE for details to enter the virtual Oneg.
