  1. Love having coverage back! Great production as always.

Please bring back score cards on display at all times though. It was great just having all the cards up at the bottom of the screen

  2. Yeah, I know what you’re trying to do. It’s still better to know what everybody’s score is up to the current hole. You’re trying to do what live disc golf does. We are here because we want the benefits of post produced disc golf. Otherwise Jomez is dead and everybody would watch DGN (which is an inferior product imo).

  3. I don’t know the results as I write this comment. When I listen to @1ULI, Paul Ulibari, Sexton, andJeremy K narrate the show…I know THEY have the results. That knowledge colors Nate’s commentary. Why can’t we experience the commentator’s in-the-moment, spontaneous responses?

  4. I’m trying to watch while suspending my knowledge that the announcers know what’s going to happen in the tournament. McMahon & Heimburg have received a lot of appreciation through hole 3. Jones not so much.

  5. like the new animations, but please (!!) when they tap out/putt/whatever, can you sort it according to the standing? like best score on top downwards? kinda annoying 🙂

  6. When Jones has a final rd lead he plays the last 9 like he's guarding or protecting something. His play becomes tight and nervy, which is not how he got the lead in the first place. He needs to play like he's chasing, not leading.

  7. Hey y’all. Great coverage as always. The production value is top-notch, but I have to echo previous comments about the graphics layout.

The new format is a little confusing. Top right hole information is solid. I much prefer the quick drop down in the same area with the disc information instead of having to go across and down.

I agree that the card scores should stay up the whole time instead of just at the end of every hole. Even in ball golf they have to leaderboard up the whole time. I understand if you can’t include players from other cards due to the nature of post-production and timing.

So I guess at the end of the day, last year‘s layout was much easier on the eyes and made more sense to this viewer. Change up the colors and fonts and transitions all you want though 🙂

    Cheers!

  8. 22:38 Nate, I have a question, though, about the new immersive experience. How often does someone win off the chase card or below? 5%? Less? Players may be concerned with UDisc standings as they play, maybe to see if they can break top ten, or maybe to see what earnings spot they can make, or to see how hard they need to push their game —- but viewers are much less concerned with that as much as they are with the lead card scores. The new leaderboard doesn’t add much to the viewers’ experience except when someone from chase is close, which is rare. And we don’t even have time to interpret the immersive leaderboard, anyway. It’s gone before you guys even commentate on it.

If you keep the new leaderboard, at least give us the old leaderboard back in conjunction. Why would you not include the old leaderboard? And, please (as thousands are now begging Jomez), bring back the lead card scores on the bottom of the screen. These disappearing, tiny graphics are simply not working.

  9. Shakas from Hawaii! As always, Jomez and Big Sexy Commentary rock! Pretty please, bring back all 4 scores. Who thought it was a good idea to bail on that?
Love the 2D hole display at beginning of each, add drive distance for players.
Anyone played Innova course on Kaua'i? Its nice but so generic, not feeling Hawaii there although the mountains are cool for sure.

  10. Still not the biggest fan of the "live" scoreboard, maybe I'll come around to it. But I really appreciate Nate acknowledging that there has been some negative feedback on it, and explaining the why from their perspective. You can't ever please everyone, but that kind of open honesty with the fans is one of the big reasons Jomez has been so successful and is by far the best production company in disc golf!

  11. What a time to be alive…where people can’t wait til the end of a hole to see the whole cards score 😂. Thank you JomezPro for the amazing free post coverage of FPO and MPO. Thanks for keeping it fresh and new every season!

  12. Bring back the old scoring visuals, please! It was way better to be able to continuously see them for all players on the card along the bottom, rather than just on each of their turns. Please please PLEASE!

  13. I know everyone has given their opinion about the score graphics. I didn’t mind or care about it until hole 4 when you said how Kevin lost 1 stroke to everyone and 2 strokes to Calvin. But then AB got a birdie and then it showed Par when Kevin got a Bogie. It was really difficult to follow what you were saying without the full scores for everyone and then to show the wrong result was even more confusing. I know you guys are getting comment after comment, so this is just another one. Thank you for everything you guys do for the sport.

  14. Just to clarify, the live scoring check in is not something that I have much of an issue with. I liked having each players scorecard (the ones we are watching on Jomez coverage) along the bottom of the screen continuously and simultaneously throughout the round like how it was last year. You guys are awesome thank you so much for everything you do!
