I’m your host, Darren Van Dam!

Tired of looking for good movies to watch on Netflix, Amazon Prime or other streaming services? Every week I recommend a handful of the best movies on Netflix, Amazon, HBO etc. so my subscribers never run out of good movies to watch on streaming. Spending 10 minutes watching one of my videos could save you hours of searching, hours that you could otherwise spend watching good movies on streaming that you otherwise might not have ever watched or even known about.

Thanks for watching!

  2. You failed to mention the best part of pain and gain. The story is 100% true and everything that happened has been confirmed. There's even a scene that is so out there that they put a subtitle at the bottom stating that this actually happened. The movie itself is stupid but it's funny because it's real.

  3. Bardo: False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths is truly very good, very much as you describe thoroughly outside of the box. House of Flying Daggers is gorgeous, and Upgrade is just so wonderful—a really great Aussie film. Well done!

  4. 💚💙💚 I enjoyed Foreigner, Don't Move, Till Death, Pain and Gain, House of Flying Daggers (In theater), Brawl in Cellblock 99, Upgrade, and your description of these films is spot-on and I watched half of them based on your recommendations. Banger of a List. I think my next watch is Filth, Cinderella Man. And then I will leap off from there. Thanks a million DVD.

  5. Ballerina is a great film i loved every part of it…i would recommend watching Kill Bok Soon and The Killer: A Girl Who Deserves to Die as a triple header though their not actually related they feel like they could all be part of the same cinematic universe hell i`d even add the Kdrama A Shop For Killers as that feels like it could be as well….

  6. Thank you, especially for the remarkable life movie. I worked with critically ill dialysis children for almost 20 years until I retired. When you walked into that unit instead of encountering a depressing place, you’d see the kids all playing videos or playing a video game while they received their dialysis treatments. normally that was four hours of treatment 3 to 4 times a week. I always felt that video games allowed the kids to, for just one moment, do something they’ve never done and couldn’t do. Be a superhero. Infiltrate a base as a super spy. Explore worlds of imagination. I played World of Warcraft with my son, and I found this movie to be remarkably poignant. Kids don’t want to play as handicapped kids. They want to be super.

  7. 'Upgrade' not available here in Ireland. Yet Netflix took my money for the Tyson fight and half of it was watching a buffer sign. When I could watch the match it was obviously a set up for Tyson and the kid to make money. These kinds of things matter and leave a bad taste. I'll be going to another service when this month is up.

Edit: as 'Upgrade' wasn't available I tried Cinderella Man and that isn't available here in Ireland either

  8. I love your movie recomandations, "the flying house of daggers"is a nice movie but not better than "crouching tiger hidden dragon". Crouching tiger hidden dragon is a master piece. By director Lee.
