  1. This reminds me of the stretch of road in the movie "Fargo" where the 2 bad guy's get pulled over and the passenger shoots the sheriff and they hide his body on the side of the road, but a car slows down and witnessed it so they chase them down and kill them after the car flips. Don't pull over at night there it didn't end well! ok Margie! LOL

  2. I know this has been going on for days but I really didn't see anything that would stop me from going down the road like the drifts are pretty awesome and that wind is awesome but….. like the roads shown look ok maybe a bit icy but drivable. Nothing that'd make me have to abandon my vehicle for

  3. This has been broadcast for days of its arrival. Truckers and first responders are the ONLY vehicles that should be out. The rest are idiots! And the blown over vehicles are an example of today's garbage on the road. There made out of plastic and garbage metal and weigh nothing. Of course their going to blow over!

  4. Truth being told, people that don't need to be on the highway that have no experience in these weather conditions, stay home!! Not gonna pat myself on the back whatsoever, but I've pulled loads in excessive of 100,000 lbs including truck and trailer, have no issues. I have never seen any of our highways here in Alberta closed because of responsible drivers, just my 2 cents 🤷‍♂️

  5. I hit a surprise snow drift on the highway once. By the time I realized what it was I hit it going 40. The thought in my mind was it's fresh snow so it should be super soft and I would just plow through it. Not until I was about to hit it did I see how tall it was. It tuned out OK thankfully. I did a mini jump and no damage to the car. What I learned was to never drive very fast when it is very windy. Oh I forgot to mention it was not snowing, it was just really windy and it was blowing snow across the highway. I didn't dare touch the breaks because it was a severe crosswind so I coasted down to 20 MPH after that mini jump.

  6. I live here. There is no government policy that gas station lady was claiming. However..they will shut down the interstate highways in a blizzard and if you're dumb enough to try to travel in those conditions then yes…people will think you're kind of a moron. But refuse help to someone who is trouble?…the lady was a bitch pure and simple! I would personally nevet refuse to help someone in trouble no matter how dumb I thought their actions were! Never!

  7. Just so people understand. A blizzard is normally the heart of the snow storm. It's high winds and blowing snow. Wich leaves drifts wherever it wants. I live in Central MN. We were -30 to -40 during this storm. Dropped 14 inches of snow. The after math were high winds making it blizzard conditions. For two days and extremely cold. This week we are warming up to the mid 30'. Hoodie weather.

  8. I used to do the floors at the grocery store in wall several years ago. By my choice as I needed a paycheck, had to drive through similar conditions with a really s*** car. Got me through it just fine.
