A long-track, significant tornado moved through the north east region of Texas. This tornado impacted portions of New Boston, TX and a tornado emergency was issued. Significant damage was located in New Boston just south of I-30. Storm chasers abandoned the chase to begin search and rescue operations. No one with any serious injuries were located.
