  2. in regards to fact 98, the ancient hero doesn’t resemble the zonai very much. its hair, ears, skin, and presence of a tail are all things that no zonai is shown to have. is it a different species or one closely related?

  3. One thing I only realized yesterday- is that the emergency shelter is under the sacred ground ruins. I have been playing since the day it came out, and only now realized it two months later.

Also in Breath of the wild, there was only one place to access the depths, and it was the hole where kogha fell after you defeated him.

You can land on the dragons and I saw shards of the spikes, you can just grab, no need to shoot the dragon for them.
It works on all the dragons.

  4. I was hatching eggs for a shiny Sprigatito and put on your vid for some entertainment while doing so, and my shiny hatched exactly at the 100th fact. Thanks for the great vid and the shiny😂

  5. Spoiler warning for a Misko side quest that has to do with the 8 Heroines

Inside the 8th heroine statue you find the Tingle Hood

So… maybe the hero was Tingle or it was a Link…
    Probably a Link though lol

  6. The statue of evil moving half way across the map is interesting. What else moved half way across the map? The Sheika telescope and also the bustle of people getting stuff done to combat evil in the name of good. Could there be a correlation? Maybe? It is speculation until we find more supporting details to even consider it a solid piece of lore.

  7. The triforce is represented through the three springs of power and the three different powers, wisdom is for Sheika, power is for malice or gloom and courage is for zonai

  8. I found while exploring through the forgotten temple in the places where the ancient sages were given their secret stones, there are 7 rocks positioned to resembling the sages in size. Something similar can be seen in the Koroks Forest where the master sword was laid to rest in BotW, though not sages but the goddesses.

  9. Sorry to be the um actually guy, but im gonna be the um actually guy.

Rauru's name actually appered before ocarina of time, as did most of the sages names in that game. It just wasnt used for a character. It was used for a town in zelda 2

  10. At point 100 1:05:31 I completely agree if you disagree look up Nintendo black crisis he has 3 videos going over every peice of evidence within btow not even totk. But to brush over the strongest points kass’s teacher in btow was in love with Zelda but zelda rejected him because “she only had eyes for her knight” if that wasn’t enough kass goes on to say in the song “the princess love for her fallen knight awakens her power” so it’s is undeniable that Zelda does indeed love link romantically. On links side we also have very strong evidence within btow he lets his gaurd down when Zelda is crying to comfort her now you could say this is plationic but. Within the Japanese version of botw he talks about Zelda like this “I want to see her smile again with these eyes of my own” and when he learns that Zelda loves him he says “I must respond to Zelda’s feelings no matter what” if that wasn’t enough at the very end of botw not getting into totk witch has alot more evidence. There are endless silent princess petals flowing in the breeze while overlooking link and Zelda. In the game it’s stated that these specific petals from that flower represent “endless love” so yes zelink is cannon they both love each other. And at the very end of totk Zelda refers to ether the dragon magic or links literal embrace as “warm and loving” it works both ways since the magic was channeled through link so it would involve his emotions. And to note he smiles if you go out of bounds specifically when she says warm loving embrace so it is 100% links love

  11. I am not a fan of the way they did the geoglyphs. I don't like that other people were able to view them and then they created the images from those. I think it would be cooler if the geoglyphs themselves were some sort of hint to Link from Zelda subconsciously. Link needs to watch these so he knows where Zelda is and where the Master Sword is. That should be something Zelda influences him to do, not some rando old people.

  12. Regarding the names of the ancient sages, it's entirely possible they could share names with the Divine Beasts, but also I recall in BotW after you free Vah Naboris, Urbosa mentions Nabooru, the OoT Gerudo Sage, as the Divine Beast's namesake. Maybe the sages Divine Beasts seemed to be named after (Ruto, Nabooru, Medli, Darunia) were also named after the Ancient Sages from TotK and they all share the same namesake now?

  13. I really wish that Ganondorf reacted to the restored master sword if you get it/damage him with it. Would have made all the efforts to get it even better. Also the comment made about Zelda using Recall to summon the master sword is kinda wrong. It is stated that the sword just appeared in front of her suddenly when she got to that location. We don't know who or what created that Recall sphere

  14. re the "legend of the great sky island" lore: those details are also covered in the "messages from an ancient era" quest, where (iirc, correct me if im wrong) it's stated that zelda and mineru were involved in figuring out how to raise the sky islands

  15. Hey, sorry this isn't related to your post, but I have been trying to find a Zelda lore YouTuber that either has covered, or will cover the Koltin story, I'm also interested to hear from your trans subscribers if they agree with what I'm about to ask.

Note: this theory contain very minor spoilers (just a description of the quests given by Kilton and Kolton) and I haven't completed the Koltin or Kilton quests so I don't know how they end yet.

Be sure to grab yourself a snack or drink as I have written a lot. Like, a lot.

    Theory:
Is Koltin's story a trans allegory?

To begin my theory I would like to state that trans people exist, they have always existed, they don't need a medical diagnosis to exist and I am not interested in having a conversation about the existence of trans people. I am a cisgender man with a very limited understanding of the trans lived experience, so I am specifically interested in trans people's perspective on my theory. Nintendo products are aimed at all ages, so it is likely that this might resonate with trans kids in particular, which I find truly lovely. I worry that trans kids don't get to see themselves in media and I hope this warms their little hearts.

Kilton's sibling Koltin has a problem, they want so badly to become a Satori. They have dedicated their life to transitioning into a form that makes them truly happy as they do not feel that they are in the right body for them. A Satori is a monster, of sorts, but a benevolent one. This could be seen as problematic as a trans allegory, but I believe it's deeper reading than a flat equation that trans people are akin to monsters.

Koltin's brother Kilton is an avid lover of monsters, he has spent his life researching them in BOTW and in TOTK he has made it his mission to inform and educate the population of Tarry Town, arguably Hyrules most progressive settlement, about the lives and the beauty of monsters. He is actively seeking to educate and change people's perceptions of a group his sibling wishes to belong to.

As a side note, the theory does get a little detailed about LGBT+ definitions here, but I think the detail is important.

My interpretation is that Satori are grouped with monster, but that this is due to a lack of education in Hyrule, which Kilton is seeking to change. I don't think this equates to trans people being grouped with lesbians, gays, bisexuals and aces etc, and that those groups are equivalent to monsters. Being trans is not a sexuality, it is a function of gender expression, so although trans people are a vital part of the LGBT+ community, they are not mutually exclusive from the other letters. You aren't just trans, you are trans and pan, or trans and straight, or trans and asexual etc. I think the best explanation is that uneducated cis people in real life sometimes group trans people with criminals. They see them as the same thing, when education (such as that provided by Kilton) is the key to understanding that trans people are not a monoculture and they are not synonymous with criminality or 'deviance' (personally I do not like the term deviant as a pejorative as sometimes being a deviant is fun). This part of my theory is a little shaky as Kilton literally loves monsters, so I think my assertion that monsters are akin to criminals shows the limits of my allegory theory. It's not perfect.

    I digress.

When Kolton tells Kilton and Link of their desire to transition, Kilton is quick to supportive of his sibling. Once Koltin's need is established, it is never questioned again in the story (as far as I have played anyway). Links quest is to now find Bubbul Gems to help Koltin in their transition, this to me seems to me like a synonym for gender affirming care.

In my head cannon I'm looking for bubbul gems to help pay for Koltin's gender affirming surgery (which is not cheap or easy to come by).

This next part is either a bit of a stretch, or an astute observation. I'll let you decide.

Koltin's colours are purple, white and green, which are close hues to pink, white and blue, the colours of the trans flag. Purple is close to pink and green is close to blue in the colour spectrum. As these two mainly exist at night, it would be easy to see this as a colour temperature shift. Look at a trans flag at night and see how the colours look different. Kilton wears shorts with purple, white and green stripes, which I read as explicit, proud support of his siblings need to transition.

Ok that's all I've got for now.
If anyone does take the time to read this, thank you, it was a pleasure to write about my theory and I hope it was fun to read.
Please don't spoil the ending for either quest as many of us will be working towards this quite hard and I want to experience it firsthand.

Trans people, what do you think? Did you notice all this too? To me it doesn't matter if Nintendo ever confirm or deny this theory. I think the ability to see yourself in works of fiction is joyful and no one need to give you permission to do it. That's the whole point of these Zelda Lore channels in the first place 🙂

So Koltin and Kilton trans icons for me, and I think they should be celebrated with their own video, featuring input from trans creators in the community.

    Hugs and kisses.
    You are loved.

    Matt x
