Skakoa and the Techno Union. They are a core world and always overlooked as their planet is deadly to humans. Just like the Kel Dor race that Plo Koon is. What does he look like under the mask. Plus, does he have a chamber in the temple where he can compress and take off his mask?
What the Techno Union did to Echo is just sick.
Pretty mad this video didn't go into Operation Durge's Lance.
It was the highlight of Grievous's career, bringing the core worlds to their knees and glassing many planets, traumatizing the entire Republic instantly.
I fucking love General Grievous, man. Top 3 Star Wars characters ever in my little turbo-sperg brain
Darth Maul (ruled by hate and revenge) + Dooku/Darth Tyranus (Fallen jedi) + Grievous (loss of physical and moral humanity) = Darth Vader
12:00 Now youāre finally getting it! All of the expanded universe stuff builds upon already fantastic writing but leaves just enough mystery and holes for this level of theory crafting. When you really dive into it, palpatine becomes a possible factor in so many seemingly unrelated stories all throughout star wars lore! Itās really fascinating to see over the years how each new person writing books, comics, and sometimes shows, adds their ideas, characters, and concepts onto the star wars universe! Glad to see you finally experiencing the awesomeness that is star wars lore⤠Embrace the Nerd side of the force and join us as Darth Nuxaloreš
you should learn about revans master darth traya
General grevious was nothing more than a grievance
Ok now he has to do Thrawn lore.

So the video skips over a segment of Grievousā story where after the Kaleesh are forced into a surrender by the Republic they are subjected to enormous fines and sanctions as war reparations (since the Republic at large believes the Kaleesh were the instigators) which condemns tens of thousands of them to die from poverty and starvation,
Grievous is contacted by one of the soon-to-be Seperatists backers, the Intergalactic Banking Clan, who offers to tackle the debt in exchange for Grievous working for him as a leg breaker, someone who would lead small droid armies to intimidate or bully debtors into paying up.
This work was demeaning and shameful but for the sake of Kalee, Grievous accepted. And he did his job very well. So while he played the part of a thuggish enforcer, the people of Kalee would not starve.
However some time later the Huk would ārevistā Kalee and desecrate some of their burial sites and ancestral grounds prompting the Kaleesh to retaliate.
On hearing of this Grievous went AWOL to lead the Kaleesh again to avenge this desecration, much to the displeasure of San Hill, the Banking Clanās chairman.
Since Grievous had basically violated his contract San Hill was of a mind to have him assassinated and let Kalee starve but seeing an opportunity for a talented commander, Count Dooku proposed a different alternative, leading to the plot to cripple him and turn him into the cyborg general who would become the scapegoat for the Clone Wars.
This was Dookuās plan, he had no idea that Sideous fully intended on silencing him at the end as well so the idea was to lay the blame for every war crime on Grievous and have Dooku pardoned.
This is how the Sith knew of Grievous and used him, ironically he was to be used as the face of the Seperatists evil, when on our side of the 4th wall he was emblematic of every system that the Republic and itās embedded corruption had screwed over.

The video is hyperbolising them. The IG-100 Magnaguard was capable of contending with Jedi Knights but were far from expected to fight Masters unless they had overwhelming numbers. They were good, but not nearly that good. And the main reason for why they werenāt mass produced and were instead deployed as bodyguards most of the time was because yes they were expensive to produce but the main reason for both was the implementation of adaptive learning programs. Meaning that for them to be effective, they had to be trained like a regular organic fighter which is why Grievous personally trained and outfitted his.
So they basically were expensive and took time to develop into effective machines.
Grievous personally hated the quantity over quality approach of the droid armies and many times asked for organic soldiers or smaller amounts of higher quality droids like these, only for the cheap mass produced order of the day to override his tactical input time and time again.
Nux pis react to chicken nugget Lore
"How did General Grievous become such a corrupt bad guy" well you see, the Separatists are actually the good guys whe n you really think about it.
No taxation without representation! The Republic shall no longer ignore the outer rim!
Thrawn was supposedly the Empire's best strategist, or so I understand.
The main issue I have with prequel era lore is that everything basically gets put at the feet of the Sith. Like, there's a long period of time where the Sith are a constant enemy but they're not the only thing that happens; they're just the evil empire that pops up every once in a while that needs to get beaten. By the time Plagueis is in power it almost seems like the Sith are bankrolling or influencing every bit of piracy, corruption, incompetence, and rights violations across the entire galaxy (except the hutts because even the Sith have standards).
One of the most powerful warriors and generals died from heartburn…so tragic. š¢
Nux you dope you can not do the voice please stop he wasn't Yoda š
The reason why Kenobi wins a lot despite being weaker then Anakin and Mace and even having less for power is because Kenobi is the master of defense. Mace said Kenobi is The Master at the defense combat and that's why he was so good at countering Grievous.
Grievous was one of my favorites, even before i watched this Video and regardless of the retcon.
By the way, is the New Canon Version of the Grievous Lore as bad as certain other Projects or is it not as bad?
The political game in Star Wars was great, just when you add modern day politics (which is r*etarded) you get a r*etarded story.
can't wait him to learn about thrawn so bad
The scene from the Clone Wars (2006), defines just what a horrific menace Grevious can be. The later Clone Wars, from 2012-2020, made him a bit too comedic.
Nux should check out the lore of Destiny 2. Itās so incredible! Byf even did a ten hour video covering the while Light vs Dark saga.
George himself said that Maul, Grevious, and Dooku are meant to embody and reflect what Anakin would become as Vader. Maul: Palpatineās enslaved loyal servant. General Grevious: the cybernetic transformation that entombed Vaderās cold, hate. Dooku, the fallen man that Anakin became before his fall, forever loyal to Sideous, due to brainwashing and manipulation. Vader, became all three of these villains. Each of them, and aspect of the Dark Lord. Grevious was indeed the test run to see if Vader could be salvaged after Mustafar. But, Palpatine purposefully made Vaderās prosthetics painful and uncomfortable. Inferior to the Generalās. So Vader would always be reminded of the suffering he would experience if heād failed Sideous again, and to never forget the failure in that duel on Mustafar.
General Grievous āHates Bug Species, Fights to exterminate Bug species, gets capped in a ship crash. Gets experimental surgery and augmentations from another Bug speciesā¦.ā lolš
Iām saying it early, so idk if they reveal it. But that Banking clan dude was Darth Sidiousās master āDarth Plagueisā
2 fun legends things
1. Dooku at one point tried to somehow imbue the force into Grievous to give him access to the Dark Side, sadly it failed
2. After the Clone Wars, Greivous' people, the Kalee were an even bigger pain in the Empire's ass than the Mandolorians
Itās crazy how badly people underestimate the separatist army, the only reason there werenāt more of the op units is because of cost but the b1 units cost little to nothing thatās why there were quintillions
Real fans know that Grievous is a badass
"Greivous is an actual jedi killer!" HK-47 would like to know your location!
Should dive into all the specialty lightsabers, like the lightclub, made for larger wielders. Its a lightsaber with the length and girth of a two by four. We might of seen one if Disney didn't autokill the wookie jedi.

There's a certain duel in clone wars season 6 that easily confirms Dooku as the best lightsaber duelist in the galaxy
He is coughing in the movies due to an injury inflicted by Obiwan during the animated Cline Wars short series
